Backrooms: The Labyrinth

The head-bob when running is worse than almost any game that I can think of. Headache inducing, and the reason I refunded the game. I could deal with the dismal voice-acting. I could deal with missing options in a supposedly finished game. I could deal with zero settings and the fact that it isn't really different than any of the average Backrooms games out there. The head-bob? THAT ridiculousness is something that I couldn't deal with and refunded it after the ache set in behind my eyes from having to withstand more wobble than a drunkard on a xanax bender, trying to cross the deck of a ship being tossed around in gale-force winds on a stormy sea.

A very nice unexpected update. Still no menu/graphic options. Just low, med and high quality. No head bob removal either. There is a continue if you die. You start from the beginning of that level. But if you actually quit. Start all over again. For the most part the changes were good. The playroom/daycare center, birthday area...... I was not a fan of it. A mix of, frustration and somewhat unfair. (For me at least.) ran through that whole entire area backwards. If new levels are to be added in the future, then there needs to be a level select. I'm not doing that area again. Anyway. Still a good Backrooms experience for me. The price right now is really good. My total playtime is from when this first released.

Good horror game. Levels are short in my opinion but still good overall. I however didn't have the "shopping mall" level, I got to the train and then credits rolled. Can't wait to see whats next.

A pretty good backrooms game with very good graphics and interesting level design, loved the new mall level and that fact that its the Kane Pixels Giant's mall.

I often enjoy a lot of Backrooms and liminal space horror games, and I definitely recommend this one. Firstly, it had a good balance between being an atmospheric walking sim and throwing the occasional monster at the player. In achieving this, the occasional monster helps to reinforce the player's sense of unease, helping to heighten the more atmospheric, walking sim parts. Secondly, the graphics are good, which leads to the third point: there's a decent variety of different liminal space environments in this one, such as the traditional Backrooms through to the poolrooms, a shopping mall and more.
