Pretty cool if you like ancient architecture. The audio tour is pretty good, but a bit redundant (they treat every tour stop like it could be your first so they restate certain facts over and over again). Also, you definitely see some bias in the tour's description of events. They blame a bunch of the damage to the complex on the crusaders from when they used it as a fortress, but then, much later on in the tour, they admit that the Muslims actually turned it into a fortress first and the tour presented no evidence to show which side caused the damage during their time using it as a fortress. The idea that the Muslims caused no damage when first converting the complex into a fort seems absurd, but that's what the tour implies. Still, the tour has many interesting facts about the ancient era and the modern restoration efforts. Overall, it's pretty wild what the Romans could build so long ago and it's worth taking a look at.
This is a collection of 360-degree photos and matched renderings of a historical reconstruction 3D model. No photogrammetry of the site or exploration of the model. Audio guide with historical info.

Amazing way of visiting places I would never be able to go to.

well put together and in-depth tour of a compound of Roman temples. Love how it flashes back and forth from current ruins to renderings of what it might've looked like in the past. Shame that it doesn't take advantage of VR stereoscopic vision; instead it's dome projection of otherwise 2D images. The voice narration is interesting, educational, and wildly in-depth for a free product. Thumbs: UP!
