It was supposed to be a romantic trip… but turned into a brutal murder scene. When Marc and Caroline planned their romantic getaway, they didn’t know that it would turn their lives into jeopardy. Can you find a way to prevent this terrible crime and put the murderer to justice?

Очень мало игр про Временные Петли. Эта игра нормальная, правда сюжет недорасказан
It's a 'how do I prevent getting murdered' point and click with multiple endings. Art style is nice, and the idea is nice. The game, however, was done not so nice. For many of its endings, you'd have to replay your first death in a certain way so often because otherwise your character would be like 'Why would I do that?' before he realizes he's stuck in some loop. It got very repetitive (with slow non-skippable animations) and thus boring. A shame, because otherwise this could've been a fairly cool game. Oh, and the achievements were bugged too which means you had to restart the game and replay certain parts again, including that first murder. I can dream this one death by now. :P Pro-tip for developers who want to make this kind of game: Don't make the player repeat a sequence every damn time, make them be able to skip that part after 2 times or so.

guy and girl on a date some guy kidnaps them and kills them bla bla bla time travel or whatever its called stuff guy kills another guy the end
ignore the negative reviews. If you're a problem solver, this is the game for you! I loved trying different things to stay alive. It was a short game but I think it's the perfect length. It took me less than 10 deaths and it was just about right. Any more and I think It would've gotten tedious and maybe a bit frustrating. Nice job, devs:)

The game has great visuals, solid voice acting, smooth animations, and an interesting gameplay loop. Sounds like it should be a good game, right? NOPE. Just because a game excels in the technical department doesn't mean it's fun to play. I went through everything it had to offer, but I didn’t enjoy it at all. You end up doing the same things over and over again - repeating cutscenes, listening to the same voice lines... It’s like the video game version of a movie "Happy Death Day". But while the movie was entertaining, this game just isn’t. It did have potential, but it was completely wasted. On top of that, there are issues with achievements. I had to restart the game every time I wanted to unlock a different ending. So even the technical polish isn’t as solid as it first appears. 4/10 – An underwhelming adventure game with a promising gameplay loop, but let down by poor execution. Took me about 35 minutes to get all achievements.
The idea is great. The execution is less great. But I think it's still worth playing, especially since it's free. The time loop results in way too much repetition, which gets annoying, and you're given very little time to explore the environment and try to stop the killer before he gets you, which means you die even more and have to go through the repetitive "waking up" scene yet again. But I think the game is still enjoyable enough to play, and it's fun to figure out different solutions. Devs, I think you have potential and am looking forward to more polished games you release in the future (Clockworld looks mad promising!).
Summary
Very short point and click in a noir style about preventing your own murder looping back whenever you fail. Pros + Interesting mystery + Simple gameplay loop Cons - Same repeated zone
Overview
AWAKE - Definitive Edition is a very short point & click with a noir style where you don't play the detective but are instead the target of a killer. Game play is simple to pick up as you explore and collect items you may need like many others of the genre, what makes the game different is that most of the items you find is much more useful to set up before cutscenes such as setting up traps. As the protagonist has the subconscious ability to go back to the beginning of the loop each time he fails, every failure imparts a little bit more information each loop as to what you can and can't do and potentially correct paths to take and what to do to influence that path. The game is super short as it literally just loops within a short sequence but the story is mildly interesting in its own right yet unfortunately isn't fully revealed even with the best ending, just giving you tidbits of what may be the reason things happened. Puzzles aren't particularly complex but you most likely will die a few times, then replay the sequences a few times just to figure out the optimal way to save yourself and learn more of the backstory. There are a number of endings and paths depending on what you do, where some will result in better or worse outcomes. Achievements aren't the worst to get but does take some effort to experiment and get through all the different endings.
Not bad concept, badly executed.
