Yeah it's decent - I'm by no means a big 2d/anime fighter guy (more a tekken person), but the characters are fun and feel faithful to the show, the art and animation is gorgeous, and the online & matchmaking feels excellent so far. I played around 30 games online with almost zero wait time between matches, in Europe, despite there being a Tokon beta running at the same time. Whether it stays that way several months later I can't say, but rollback and crossplay on day one is very much appreciated. Anyway, the core game itself feels very fun, polished, and mechanically deep - if you like your fighting games, don't be put off by the mixed reviews, especially at this price. Where it's maybe lacking right now is single player content - there is an arcade mode, story, trials and training modes, as you'd expect, but nothing too fancy, and I don't know if that's enough these days for people who are reluctant to play online. Lack of a difficulty select suggests to me they ran out of time, but hopefully this will be added post release. Overall though, still a really solid fighting game with good online and a fun cast of characters. [Disclosure: until last month my employer used to be owned by Paramount corporation. I didn't get this for free and I don't know anyone who worked on it.]

Muy buen juego de lucha y muy divertido. Le faltan funcionalidades y hay personajes sin acabar pero se lo perdono porque el juego es muy divertido
Probably the best fighting game to come out in recent years if you like fighting games or Avatar its a must play, The Story is also pretty funny its not meant to be takin seriously but its good.
I have only played for like... 14-20 minutes, and I will be honest: I can't recommend this game. Not in the state that it's in, at least. I am asking for a refund as we speak because I couldn't... vibe with the game. I do have some pros and cons, but if you don't wanna read it, I have a tl;dr about my thoughts on the game overall. tl;dr: If you are a veteran of the fighting genre and/or were one of the beta testers who enjoyed this a lot, this game is DEFINITELY for you! Enjoy the game and show the world how far you'll go with whoever you main! But if you are looking to play this because ATLA and/or you saw this on YouTube (or TikTok... or wherever you watched clips of this game) and are interested despite never playing (or barely playing) fighting games, then either wait for a deep discount or just don't get it at all. This is NOT a beginner-friendly fighting game, but one aimed for the veterans who do this in their sleep. For those who DO want to know the pros and cons, in my opinion, here's my pros and cons down below. Pros: * It's beautiful, I will NOT take that away from it. * The combos do go crazy good when you figure out what the combos do and how to achieve them. * From bits and pieces that I heard of the music, it is lovely! Cons: * If you want to do a tutorial, good frickin' luck memorizing what happened. A breakdown will help and they DO have that on hand.. HOWEVER, it's still not friendly to those playing the game for the very first time. * The Story Mode is... bland. Like, VERY bland. Yes, you get some stories here and there, but then after a match, you get SMACKED right into a fight without any context. Just "Here ya go, you're fighting Ozai!" or even "Beat Korra? Do it again with Nightmare Korra." without any warning or story explaining what's happening and how we even got there. * The difficulty spikes in the gameplay. Veteran players who partake in fighting games, this is RIGHT up your alley! Those who are first-timers or barely play fighting games like me, prepare to spam. Some of the fights are pretty easy once learning what does what... then comes a CPU that is ALWAYS on the move even before the round starts, which... I know that's what they do, but I mean this in a "they move close just so they can start smacking you into oblivion the moment Toph says "FIGHT!" movement. Again, veteran players of fighting games, THIS ONE is definitely for you.
This is the best fighting game in the last 10+ years in my opinion.
Game has soul in it and its not some slop fighting game. Even on my low end laptop the game runs great
Game is incredibly difficult and doesn't explain anything to beginners. Trying to play the story and you get insta-killed by your opponent with a billion special moves at high speed. The tutorials make no sense. They confusingly show buttons called A and X instead of just showing what button does what. Then they present you with a list of buttons to click on the side of the screen. No idea what I'm supposed to do. I tried to click all the buttons in a tutorial to make things happen, but progress still says 0% complete.
This is the fighting game the FGC has been wanting for a long time. Legends has the potential to be a gateway for casuals to get into the genre while presenting a challenege for veterans to master the complex systems and execution requirements. A lot of time was put into creating characters that are completely unique from one another in there abilities and mechanics, and the devs are clearly fans of the source material as the character mecahnics align with the lore of the show perfectly. The bones are there, the gameplay is top tier. There are major bugs that need to be ironed out, but the bugs are bearable... for now... If the developers knuckle down and consistently update the game to add the QoL features and fixes that should come standard with any fighting game title released in 2026 then Legends could become one of the best. That needs to happen sooner rather than later, before the community abandons the game to the realms of "it could've been so good..."
Great game! I hope the devs don't mess it up and the community doesn't abandon it.
