FLAMEO HOTMAN!
So this is my review ever on Steam. But i just wanna say that despite the hasty launch (forced on the devs by Paramount) this game is a whole lot of fun. -As an AVATAR game its great, the VA's are hit or miss but everything else is extremly faithfull. From refrences and animations stripped from the show to the way each characters plays in accordance to their personality. Toph is a truck that hits hard but when her opponents are airborne she is immidealty weaker cause she can't sense their location anymore. Sokka is a trickster using his brains, boomarang, club and sword to ♥♥♥♥ you up in ways you'd least expect it. Aang is a pacificst so he jumps around dodging everything untill he can get that one good hit in, and then back to evading. Clearly this is a labour of love that has the heart of show figured out. -As a fighting game this is also an extremly well made product. The roster is very unique with each character having bespoke mechanincs, and they each have 3 variants that further diversify these to fit the matchup and your playstyle. It has a pretty low skill floor but a crazy high skill ceiling. This can by frustrating becuase the hastned launch made it so ranked will only come in august, and you can sometimes fight against demons who are way above your skillset. But you can always play them 20 games, win that last game and feel you learned more about what your doing wrong and what they were doing so right. I think a replay mode like Tekken 8 or Tokon would really help solve a lot of these gaps between players who were here since the beta and players like me who just jumped in. That being said defense is really strong in this game, no gauranteed oki situations or throw loops. You can always roll away and play more NEUTRAL instead of just looping offence. This game deserves the love it is getting and i can only hope the launch didnt squander it's potential. If you're into FG or AVATAR, you should get this. Avatar:Legends seems to be tailored to both fanbases with real love and understating as to what each audience would want to see. Also Toph yells I AM MELON LORD each win so yeah it's goated
game should release ranked mode at release. now we fight high elo players with not knowing etc. It sucks.
у игры хороший потенциал
Unfinished characters no ranked mode no spectator and it's the bets fighting game I've ever played
I AM THE GREATEST EARTHBENDER IN THE WORLD!
I've been somewhat bouncing off of new fighting game releases for a while now, but this game has made me love fighting games again. There are missing features from launch that sucks to not have, but having an extremely good fighting game system with a less than ideal online system is better than the best online system in the world with a trash fighting game system.
