Fun, satisfying combat, great artstyle, solid single-player content. What we NEED is Ranked. Once that's in the game, it'll be pretty much perfect. The lack of original voice actors is a bummer, but I guess that's something that's not changing. Regardless, fantastic game.
I had no expectations or knowledge of the avatar IP and I have had a great time so far. It's missing some promised game content like ranked and private lobbies (with more than two players) and some character animations/frames are absolutely scuffed. However, the game is still outstanding and very fun to play. Excellent neutral, awesome feeling movement, crazy combo complexity and expression, fun character specific interactions, and silly tech. This is a fighting game player's fighting game. It's part kusoge but in the best way while also very clear and intentional. Though I mentioned the scuffed animations, PLEASE DONT 'FIX' OZAI'S ANIMATIONS. They're hilarious when you are boosting around the ground in neutral and you just kick a teenager into the ceiling lmao
This game has excellent gameplay and movement. It's a shame that Paramount forced this game out the door, but it's a testament to the developers that the game is still really great
Loving the game so far and this is by far one of the easiest fighting games to pick up and play. Each character can work at a very basic level, and every character has a high skill ceiling. Everyone feels viable its just weather or not they mesh with your play style. This game has four buttons, attacks are A B C with the fourth being Flow. Chain A>B>C into a special and congrats, you've got your first combo down with just about every character. Combos CAN get complicated but they don't need to be. Combo trials are extremely beginner friendly with the introduction of "Break Down" In the break down section, it gives you a combo string and will flash freeze for every input. I found this incredibly helpful for complicated combos because it lets you get the muscle memory of the inputs without having to get the entire thing frame perfect. They make every bender (and the one non bender, so far) feel very powerful. and as long as you can figure out HOW a character is supposed to play, you'll have fun playing them. Everything feels very freeform, some characters have more freedom than others but each character is very expressive in their move set. The only real improvement that could be made is to online match making. Specifically a way to get matched with people of your skill level. For now, finding people via discord and threads is your best option and honestly there's nothing to wrong with it, I personally like getting matched up with better players as it gives me the opportunity to grow in areas I didn't know I was struggling with to begin with,
The greatest fighting game for the greatest animation in the world. We've finally come full circle. Flamey-O hotman!
fun 👍
Amazing game, the first fighting game I've played that I really love playing there's a character for everyone. would recommend
Игра мне очень нравится, хотелось бы по больше персонажей и локаций, так же хотелось бы слышать музыку из оригинального сериала, надеюсь разработчики не забросят этот бриллиант )
wow 20$ for gay sex
I would give it a neutral review if I could. This is the most fun I've had in any fighting game in a long time. I'm not good in any of them, but I have played SF, Tekken and Soul Calibur since I was a kid. The game looks stunning and the mechanics feel excellent. The training mode is pretty good for me, but I would definitely call it too steep for total beginners. Some combo strings are fairly strict even on the intermediate level and this can indeed be discouraging to some. The biggest flaw, by far, is the lack of a ranked mode. There is no excuse for this and the publisher has clearly rushed the team, when the passion of the devs is apparent in all facets of the game. This makes the barrier of entry for total noobs insurmountable, if you don't have friends to play with, you are not going to be having fun as it stands. For me, the matchmaking experience was pretty great, but this lack of ranked will make this game bleed players.
