When 16 year old Andi falls for the last person her parents would approve of, she seems to have trouble processing the severity of her girlfriend's situation. Cute visuals and crude humor helps to mask dark topics in the way that puts you in the headspace of a teenage girl trying to shut it all out.

About
Atlas Ablaze is a visual novel that follows a girl named Andi as she discovers how it feels to yearn to know someone the way you know yourself. It's a story about a coming of age, sonder feelings and simply owning up to being human.
She's a 16 year old who finds herself falling in love with a young sex worker as she's simultaneously dealing with a sharp decline in her mental health. A little behind other kids her age, her lack of experience in relationships not only affects her love life, but her friendships as well. As she begins to understand how it feels to care for people so much that love becomes your crutch, she also realizes just how many people care for themselves more than anyone else.
Acting as somewhat of a subconscious or an imaginary friend, you can help Andi make choices in her day to day life, influencing the way she interacts with the people around her. There are many different characters you can meet, some of which have secrets to be discovered. 2017 era humor contrasts the darker undertones of the story, every childhood crushing horror followed up with a few raunchy jokes. If you love friendly banter, well timed dirty jokes, self aware cringe content or overseeing actual dumpster fires, living inside Andi's mind might be exactly what you need.
Features:
•This game can be beaten in around 4 and a half hours.
•There are seven different endings, though the same ending may look slightly different depending on less impactful choices the player has made.
•The player can occasionally snoop through Andi's phone, finding extra artwork, reading text messages, etc.
•All of the visuals are pixel art, with chiptune inspired music to match the atmosphere.
•A large amount of the game has a light, pastel color pallet.
-Disclaimer: None of the characters, including the sex workers, are meant to be sexualized-

The story follows Ally (or Andi or Alexandria, depending on the mood), a 16-year-old girl who is just the right age to experience any problem you can think of. She serves as the narrator, and you are someone who follows her story through her eyes. The game does not explain how you ended yourself in this situation or whether you are even real, but you appear to be someone who can help her. Sometimes you can make decisions but,Ally may choose not to follow them. Having said that, your decisions still matter and will result in different outcomes. One day, while hanging around the store with her best friend, Ally notices a girl with whom she instantly connects. The truth is, Ally is gay. However, the mystery girl, Iris, has an odd job: she is a sex worker. The entire game revolves around this relationship and how Iris keeps her work completely physical and then hangs out with you to experience romance through dancing, playing, cuddling, and so on. Art is all custom. It is in a very low-resolution pixel style that appears to be from the early days of video games. Many characters have enough details to make them unique, and it is evident that a lot of thought gone into them, which is understandable given how important intriguing characters are in visual novels. The backgrounds are mainly fine. Some appear detailed, such as your bedroom and the store, while others are simple walls with windows and doors. Although the pixelated font works well with the overall design, I would want to have the opportunity to change it to something more readable. Fortunately, the script is good and does not have too many monotonous parts. There are plenty of swear words and f-bombs. Of course, because this is a slice-of-life novel, do not expect much excitement except for some drama related to Iris’ work.

I really loved this game it was super sweet and super cute. It had some very dark and serious topics but it handled them with such good care and it was not gratuitous about it at all (like many games). i really enjoyed the characters they have a tendency to really grow on you and I love how it has multiple endings. If you want a good yuri story that is heart felt but also tackles dark topics i think this is a great game. I love the two main characters and seeing their romance unfold is so natural, well written, and sweet. You really root for them, i was so mad at myself when i got a bad ending. But then i played through again and got a good ending. I also love how there are extra easter eggs and stuff to discover if you feel like exploring or going through the characters phones. This game is definitely aged towards older teens/younger adults but i don't think that takes away it's merit as a piece of art. I would go more indeph about each character but i don't want to spoil anything, i think it's more fun when you just see for yourself. 8/10 game
Very adorable. Andi’s mess of a mind is very interesting to experience while learning about her and her relationships. Which are all over the place in a fitting way. The characters have a weird way of growing on you. The jokes always land even if you hate them. The undertones and serious topics are handled in a careful way. I wasn’t expecting it to work but it came out in a grounded way. The visuals are so cool. Andi and the second protag are always a delight whenever they have a scene together. If your looking for some good yuri definitely play this. *rubs my yuri-filled belly*
Really cute and charming. The characters feel relatively down to earth and the art is cute. If you want a cute story (with some dark themes) then this is for you.
16 yaşındaki Andi, ailesinin onaylayacağı son kişiye aşık olduğunda, kız arkadaşının durumunun ciddiyetini kavramakta zorlanıyor gibi görünüyor. Sevimli görseller ve kaba mizah, karanlık konuları gizlemeye yardımcı oluyor ve sizi her şeyi dışlamaya çalışan genç bir kızın ruh haline sokuyor.
I really like this game! I loved the story line a lot and the art style is so fun. Can't wait to play more. :)
Art is chunky, blurry, and lazy. Every word said by any character is terrible. There's not a person on the planet that actually talks like that. BAD GAME
Пойдёт, но затянуто.
polecam całkiem niezła gra ma ciekawą grafikę
