Honestly wish this got a remake or sequel, that's the exact same game but bigger and better, or at least has none of the Pay-to-win bs, even if it is still a grindfest. Like I still love the game itself, but the extremely predatory monetization drive since it's free to play slowly killed this game, it's still somewhat active, but the only people left playing are either completely new, trolls, bots, or the occasional hardened vet (like me lol) that comes in once every few months to farm void blobs or something. Edit: 1/22/2025 A few people have said development has suddenly continued in Astroflux, which would be extremely amazing, except if that's the case... ...how come the servers are down? And the game is utterly unplayable, even after following the discord instructions? Abandonware. At it's finest. 5/4/2026 Edit: It IS still somewhat playable... servers are occasionally up before going down again, which means getting good daily login streaks won't happen, but the game is at least playable. I only pop in every month or two just as a memorial of sorts, remembering the game that was.
