Honestly, I don't get the users of these kinds of games. There are very few sim-racing titles out there, and they all employ extremely predatory practices. Sure, development here is slow, they trolled us regarding the campaign, and there’s still plenty of room for improvement—but for 20 bucks, you get access to all the content. In every other game in the genre, you pay for the interface, then you have to buy the cars, tracks, and—as if that weren't enough—you have to pay a hefty subscription fee. I really don't get it. I can't speak to the actual realism of the simulation itself, but I recently picked up a Direct Drive wheel and I'm having a blast. The graphics and sound are the best in the genre; it was poorly optimized until the last patch, but with version 0.9, the game runs much lighter while still looking amazing. Some users deserve to have predatory practices start up here, too. The game is still far from perfect, but it deserves full support from the user base; otherwise, go f**k yourselves listening to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spouted by some weird, rich and sometimes even covertly sponsored YouTuber who shells out a fortune to play "better" games. To the devs. keep on keeping on!
