I was really excited about this titles original promise. Having a racing title with a career mode progression and economy that had actual well implemented physics was something that would really fill a niche between something like Forza Horizon and iRacing for when I don't really feel like dealing with crazy competitive racing but don't want to play something completely unrealistic. I bought in early and eagerly awaited every update waiting to hear more about the development of what I hoped would be my new favorite racing game and swiftly had my heart broken when they announced they were basically scrapping everything I was looking forward to. I really tried to enjoy it after that however the implementation of online is atrocious, why would you force me to your website to sign up for the daily races? It feels like a shell of what it could have been and fits no where correctly, the cars feel alright and the ffb is good but what am I meant to do with it? It's not a competitive game like iRacing especially with there being barely anyone playing. It has no single player content at all to fill that progression void. It could have been so good but now it will collect virtual dust in my library unless they find a direction to go, I really hope they actually bring back the idea of the career mode as that is the biggest hole in the sim genre imo.

i would love this game to be good but hearing that open world is out from the book makes me sad that i bought this game at launch. the driving is good at its core, vr performance is fine but now all i can do is wait, what they'll serve in the 1.0 release and if there will be compensation for early adopters

This game is trash it is just an unpleasant experience. The force feedback is garbage the UI makes me want to punch something I spent 5 minutes trying to change from metric and just gave up the car selection is lackluster and the track selection leaves more to be desired. Just buy the original it is somehow better.
