Sıra tabanlı güzel bir strateji oyunu şahsen ben böyle grafikli oyunların aşığı olduğum için beni pek grafikler sıkmadı.
I wasn't expecting much from this free little game with 1980s style-graphics, but I enjoy the topic and so I thought I would give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised! Its both unexpectedly entertaining and quite well thought out. The designer clearly knows his WWII armor. This is a more realistic depiction of driving an M4 medium tank around France than many much flashier titles. Lots of nice details like limited availability of HVAP, only some ammo being in the ready racks, and far more HE and coax ammo to be expended than AP. If that last sentence doesn't make any sense to you you might not pick up on the game's attention to detail, but its still a fun little marriage of armored combat and roguelike gaming. I am looking forward to trying out Armoured Commander II.
Better than war thunder.
No joke, even with the crude graphics and turn based gameplay, Armoured Commander is a action packed experience that will scratch your WW2 tank combat itch. A simple game with robust gameplay. It's also free and barely takes up any storage, so you should give it a go for sure!
I don't know what I am doing, but I know I must kill
Armoured Commander is a free-to-play rogue like game. Its a weird combination of pixelated graphics, text-based explanation system (basically whenever something happens a text will appear telling you what happened and what its results were) and a dice-based combat system. Its hard to explain and even harder when you suck at English like me. The best way to understand this system would be to play the game and experience it for yourself. One of the things i really like is that the dice system seems to actually work. Sure it can ♥♥♥♥ you up sometimes but that happens with a dice based system nothing we can do but generally it seems pretty fair and you'll be able to guess if you are gonna hit someone or miss. There are other games that tried this same dice system and failed at it (failed at a ♥♥♥♥ ton of other things too looking at you Morrowind you piece of ♥♥♥♥). +Normally i'm not really into pixelated graphics but this one is an exception these graphics actually work pretty well in here. The graphics show you everything you need to know. +The game has texts explaining everything thats going on after a while these texts can get a bit repetative but generally combined with the pixelated graphics it works pretty well. +Your crew has skills you get to choose their skills there is some special skills and general skills. Special skills are for special roles like the driver will have his own skills that help him with moving the tank, the gunner, loader and everyone will have a few special skills that help them with their job and then there is the general skills which every crew member can have these usually help with their survival. +There was another dice based game that i played it was Elder Scrolls Morrowind i think. That games dice system sounded interesting but when i played the game and saw what it was really like i quickly changed my mind before playing that game i was interested in dice-based games but after Morrowind i was scared of dices. When i heard that this game had a dice-based combat system i was kinda worried but when i got into the game and played it i saw that its actually not that bad this system works pretty well in here. +When you die you die. Thats it. The game ends. I like it. Of course you can make the game easier you do have the option but why would you use that option ? This game is more fun when its hard, its more fun when the "if you die you die and you have to start all over again" option is enabled. Half of the fun is trying to survive. +Getting used to the controls might be a bit hard at first but when you do get used to them you'll see that the controls aren't that bad. Are they good ? Not really but they are not bad either. And fortunately you always have a small tab on the side of the screen showing you what you can do and what the controls are. -The sounds can get a bit too repetative -You can only play as the Canadians or the Americans there isn't enough variation. -I've never seen planes or ships i've seen off-map artillery attacks, infantry, armored vehicles but i've never seen a ship or a plane. It feels like they entirely forgot about the air force of Germany and the Allies. The game is free, it takes a few different systems and combines them into one normally i'm not a huge fan of dice based games, pixelated graphics, text-based games i don't hate them or anything i'm just not a huge fan of them but after playing this game (+ a few more others in my spare time) i realised that text-based games can be really fun and dice-based combat systems can be good. The game is only a few hundred MBs and any PC can run it. There is really no reason to not try this game. If you enjoy it there is a 2nd Armoured Commander game on Steam this 1st game isn't being updated anymore. You can go and buy the 2nd game if you enjoy this one.
Well, if the controls were better, I would recommand it. Play AC 2 instead, it is a much better game control-wise albeit missing the sector map which is actually a plus as it removes unnecessary transitions between screens. Also, satelite maps were not present in the 1940s so just seeing what your tank crew sees is really immersive. So buy AC 2 instead, it is a much better game. - Innovative - Inspired from Patton's Best board game - Potential to have alot of campaigns & vehicles (which are present in AC 2) - Addictive - Challenging - Make your own challenge by choosing the vehicle you will use (and in AC 2 choose the difficulty of the operation too) - Poor controls - Low quality of life - Excellent for a free game and to show what the designer of the game can do - Good representation of how dangerous the life of a tank crew can be. If you want to know what AC 2 might be like before buying, try AC 1. it is a simplified yet clumsy version of AC 2 but gives you a good idea of what the dev team wants to do with their game and what to expect in AC 2.
It's a really good tense turn-based game. Easily sold me on the not free-to-play sequel.
В современное время игра выглядит очень абстрактно
Shot a Jagdpanzer IV in the hull and did no damage, it instantly crit-rolled me and penetrated my tank in the turret afterward. Amazing game.
