Upon replaying it and getting 100% achievements I think this might just be my favorite FromSoft game. It is challenging until you get the hang of it, but even then feels super rewarding. The sound design, music, art design, worldbuilding, its all incredible.
Playing this game with the Code Geass OST 'Nightmare' in the background has to be genuinely top 10 experiences. Most engaging mech combat in its genre. Doubt it will ever be topped. Insane build potential. 10/10. Fromsoft, you did it again.

i won't miss
this game is a low skill broken mess with an unegaging storyline. I have been more challenged and engaged figuring out how to get the game to run (due to the anticheat breaking it) than i ever was playing it. As we speak, im writing this while waiting for a 5-7 min load screen for a 45 sec arena battle because i settled for turning off my firewall to get the game running instead of altering files to disable the anticheat. i would say that besides the actual customization of the mechs there is very little here that justifies a $60 pricetag or your time, and frankly, FROM should be ashamed to be selling it in it's current state with a game breaking anticheat.
7/10. Overall fun and engaging gameplay. But I felt the bosses atleast on a first playthrough were a little overly difficult, mainly the second to last boss on the Liberator of Rubicon ending. The first move in second was way too horribly specific in how you dodge I felt. the cinematics are phenomenal and the feeling of scale and perspective are as well highly acclaimable. I would definitely recommend to any fans of the genre. As well I would like to say the game performs very well I ran the game on a mix of high and max and ran a stable 90 fps, the only performance hiccup I ran into was mild stuttering when I turned on my controller, but that might just be a me issue.
