War robots:)
This is one of those games where I wish there was a "neutral" rating. It's not a bad game by any means. I just don't like it. I also don't think it's worth the $60 price tag. It has polish in the sense that I encountered no bugs and the controls are responsive. The HDR support is clean and vibrant. The mech cosmetic customization is fun. The weapons are cool. Mechs are cool! But overall the game feels so empty. The lore is very sparse. Narrative progression happens either in brief post-mission cutscenes or motionless radio conversations. Missions are extremely short and linear, about 5-10 minutes for most of them. There is almost no music, which feels almost shameful coming from FromSoftware, known for very good soundtracks. I felt zero connection to the protagonist, who is silent despite being treated by other characters in the narrative like he is extremely important and makes decisions. I've read a few reviews here saying that the difficulty is rewarding. In my experience, there is almost zero challenge to this game. I'm nearly done with chapter three and I've encountered two bosses and one arena battle that took more than two tries to complete. Maybe I just stumbled on a broken build unintentionally, but these enemies are pushovers. I wanted to finish this but it just got so repetitive and hollow.
HOT MECHA ACTION!
Its peak.
как по мне, эта игра стоит своих денег. 100/100
걍 사셈 개재밌다 난 이거 10만원이어도 샀을듯
TL;DR: 10/10 — Came for the giant robots, stayed to spite Iguazu. As someone who has been piloting ACs since the original Armored Core back on the PS1, Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is everything I could have hoped for. It respects the franchise's roots while delivering a masterclass in modern action design. What Makes It Special: Unmatched Combat Rhythm: The dance of combat relies heavily on managing distance, momentum, and enemy posture (ACS). Once you lock into a build's natural rhythm—whether you prefer high-speed close-quarters melee or giving bosses an Earshot directly to the face—landing a perfect stagger-and-punish combo is pure dopamine. Aggressive Build Freedom: The assembly garage offers incredible flexibility. You aren't forced into standard meta builds; if you want to pilot a glass-cannon lightweight frame at blistering speeds with a needle gun and a blade, the game fully rewards skill, timing, and precision. Cinematic Scale & Boss Fights: The campaign features some of the most jaw-dropping boss encounters and set pieces in action gaming. Every victory feels earned, and watching an enemy frame detonate after a tight duel never gets old. Peak Rivalry Dynamics: Special shoutout to V.VIII Iguazu, a man powered entirely by raw, unfiltered, weaponized spite. Watching him cope, seethe, and collapse under the sheer weight of his own skill issues is worth the price of admission alone. Whether you're an old-school Raven from the PSX era or a newcomer, pushing through the gauntlet to S-Rank every mission in AC6 delivers an unforgettable ride from start to finish.
Love this game, it's very challenging
