ARK: Survival Ascended

I played the original years ago, and after vehemently despising its awful gameplay loop I figured I ought to see if the cashgrab remake was any better. I bought it on sale today, the same day that I'm returning it. The game still has the exact same problems, except now you need a more expensive computer to play it. The graphics, though considered a technological upgrade, are just worse. The entire world is washed out and bright orange, even if you change HDR settings. It's borderline impossible to see under water. You still get unreasonable piles of nonsense thrown at you at every opportunity. The creature designs have not improved. Don't even buy this on sale.
