Animal Style

I was pleasantly surprised by this game. Not only was it a lot of fun but it had a lot of charm all over the place. I liked running around the town and finding the silly posters. The occasional night attack kept things interesting and I loved learning about the town through talking with the residents while giving them sauce. It has a lot of silly jokes, some that really made you face palm. Can't wait to unlock more sauces and more importantly: More decorations for my beautiful hot dog shop

[/i] [b] What is Animal Style? [/b] In this game you are a cat that has just opened up his own hot dog shop- however, everyones version of a hotdog seems to be more different as the days go on. [b] Beginner Player Friendly? [/b] I would argue that this game is beginner players friendly. It has a very straightforward tutorial that will help you understand everything you may need to know in order to progress in this game. [b] Game Play: [/b] In this game your goal is to serve your customers with their various hot dog choices by day and fight an alien invasion at night! You can upgrade and decorate your shop with many different items. You can also make new types of sauces that make your customers want more! You can also assist with some of the side story which revolves around assisting to match make. [b] Graphics: [/b] The graphics in this game are very simple and you can tell this is a small team. However, the graphics seem to be very nice and I believe this game could run on lower end systems. The characters all have their own unique style and the enviornments feel full even with your limited space. [b] Community: [/b] This game has just been released and is still fairly new so the community is still small, so if you need any help with anything feel free to ask me until the community guides get up and running. [b] How long can you play? [/b] In this game I have around an hour of playtime and I have yet to complete the story, I believe to complete everything available in the game it would only take a few hours. [b] My Opinion: [/b] In my opinion if you are looking for a fun game where you sauce up a bunch of things (even peoples faces) then you should give this game a try. A fun game that's easy to pick up and put down as desired - I was playing it in between washing machine cycles on my laundry day. The main day-to-day loop is quick and doesn't get boring because there's lots of variety in the overall gameplay. Despite the restaurant setting there's no time limit, so this is more of a puzzle game with random selections of puzzles every day. Not too easy, not too hard, just pleasant. Also, I liked some of the recurring characters. The two at Claws & Paws and the paint-covered sphere-bot have some fun dialogue. Excited to see where the rest of my play-through goes!

This was a cute little game I completed in about 4 hours with a few distractions. It was a fun quirky little thing all about playing with physic based liquid sauces. It has a cute little story and some interesting puzzles. Its definitely a light hearted fun small adventure and im probably gonna be putting more hours into seeing what all I can sauce up. Not too many though. What this game really is at its core is a physics based puzzle game with light elements of shop keeper, cooking, and story. It has really neat liquid physics from the sauces and some of the puzzles were a nice balancing act though a bit on the janky side. Some of the puzzles were more whimsical and fun. Would love to see more puzzles with these saucy mechanics! For now though, thank you SaucerGamesLLC for making this game and reaching out to me <3

This is a goofy little game that on first look might turn some people off but the overall ideas and humor of this game do a good job at keeping you entertained. While this is not the longest game in the world this actually works to its benefit as this game does not overstay its welcome and ends at a reasonable point before the gameplay becomes stale. This game controls pretty well and never feels unfair in its balancing either even giving you a warning before you are about to mess up but not being so generous that you cant possibly mess up. Overall this is a fun little experience with not much to complain about really. While the game is short it also features an endless mode which lets you continue playing which is always nice.
