Feels like a GameDev school project, because it is. The publisher for this is a Spanish GameDev school for which this is a project. It also looks like it was made with tutorial assets. Seems kinda unfair to review this with the expectations of maybe an indy title, but a fully working game. You've got endless primary ammo, jump and dash skills. You can do finishers on wounded enemies, this option is indicated by making them glow blue with an E key above their heads. You can also shoot buttons to open doors and there are also pickups. Your character gives no reaction when attacked, which kind of breaks immersion. Amateur - level voice acting is actually nice. The overall problem with the game is: little introduction, not much polish. I also got stuck on a piece of scenery while looking around to see how to progress beyond the laser wall. Yes, it's technically a game, but why would you play it? As of this moment, lacks soul.
controls are so terrible its unplayable

Saludos Cordiales.

Clearly DOOM-inspired with none of the design or balance that makes fighting feel good.
too much colors,but good
Extremely jank in the shooting, platforming, and all things game play. The story is really good same with the lore. Sadly i am dropping it as it keeps glitching at the same enemy on level 2 not letting me kill him or progress. Giving it a positive rating for the story.
I really respect the effort but I think the devs here bit off more than they could chew. This is one of, if not the most ambitious student project game I've played featuring competent voice acting, an attempt to recreate AAA level combat from titles such as the 2016 Doom or Returnal, multiple enemy types with various abilities, an actual storyline, partial controller support, steam achievements, etc. Pretty much everything you could want except trading cards, and like all student projects it is entirely free. It is also ridiculously buggy and broken. The enemy AI is just A here, no intelligence to be found. Just spam attack, either stand still or move in a little set pattern, or in the case of a few of the more mobile enemies lock onto the player and don't stop moving towards them unless you end up in a place you get stuck and your limited intelligence breaks entirely. Not that it's entirely bad, the Charger enemy type is pretty B.S. and very prone to getting stuck somewhere so it balances out. There was actually one fight (the one where I'd had enough and quit) where that seemed to be the only way to win: find a spot where you're safe from enemies because they just get stuck. That's not the only issue though, here's a fun one. I accidentally hit the buttons on the left side of my mouse where one's thumb is supposed to rest, which happens occasionally, and found my camera viewpoint suddenly miles away from the playable area with no way to fix it. I could still shoot and I heard enemies shooting at me, but if I wanted to keep playing I had to hit the reset button in the menu. I didn't know that could even be a problem. It's also what led to me quitting the game as early as I did, because I was at least halfway through a challenging fight where I'd been lucky. Outside of those major sins, the movement and shooting are reasonably janky but certainly tolerable, and I suspect some of the achievements are broken. At the time of writing this, it seems that 15.8% of players have unlocked a diverse selection of achievements that shouldn't really be tied together, and I know the one for melee killing 3 enemies is busted because it unlocked for me when I tried the controls out before even seeing anyone else. It is always important to ensure that a game is relatively bug free and fully functional before letting anyone else play it, and games that are intentionally designed to be difficult, as I suspect this one is, are even more important to get right. Here, not only is the player expected to fight through the game's challenging combat encounters but they must also fight the game itself. I don't mind dying repeatedly because I'm bad at the game and need to improve, but dying repeatedly with the risk of losing progress due to bugs that shouldn't have made it into the release version of the game (probably the final version as well, I don't see any updates happening) is just too much. I'm really torn between leaving this as a positive review or a negative one, so take this as a barely meets expectations. Those who are more patient may have what it takes to see this game through to the end, and if it is ever finished I'll come back to it, but I really didn't enjoy this enough to want to push through in the current state. If any of the development team reads this, you should still be proud of what you accomplished. You just have need a little more practice and time before dropping the next big thing in the industry.
