A magical, dreamy adventure starring Amihailu Dugashoba and her friends! You'll wander the echoey and endless halls and spooky painting worlds to solve the mystery and escape the fantasy world. Or you would solve the mystery... if anything Amihailu said made a grain of sense!

I have always loved Yume Nikki and was very big into the YN Fangames scene since I was a pimply middle schooler. I remember when Noyemi K/Mishka was first working on Hell Diary and it was just another (albeit visually interesting) YN fangame. Then watching Mishka turn it into something unique, and then making Amihailu in dreamland--oughh... Anyways, memories aside. Beautiful art and graphics. And the setting straddles a line between whimsical and dreamy, and purely unsettling. I love this game.

If you like yume nikki, you'll like this one. Very nice music as well.

Amihailu In Dreamland is a non-combat adventure RPG with a focus on exploration. Starting in an area with a half-dozen rooms, you must explore the map to find ways to unlock new areas. There does not seem to be an overall objective - a fact that is excused by the premise that it is all a dream. The story makes little sense (because it's a dream, of course), and the speech is disjointed, as if translated from another language, but the dialogue does break the monotony of wandering around the map, by making you think you've discovered something new. The soundtrack is very nice and varied, but the visuals are rather plain. Progress gradually unravels as you unlock new areas, although there doesn't seem to be any thinking or planning involved. If you enter a room enough times after visiting other places, new things just happen without explanation. The satisfaction of playing lasts surprisingly long for a game that seems to offer so little - new discoveries tend to appear just as you're about to give up. However, the game does eventually lose its flavor as your map of travelled areas gets larger and larger, and it takes longer to find new things. Overall, it's good enough to give it a try. It's free after all (so far), and I have yet to encounter a bug.
It's a fun and simple game! I'm not the best at puzzles myself, but I found them easy enough to figure out; the exploration aspect of the game makes a nice touch as the player gets to see the art, and gets to spend more time listening to the lovely music made by Noyemi K.! The music gets the player immersed into the different scenarios they'll find themselves in and makes it even more of an enjoyable experience for the player as they start to unravel the mystery as to why Amihailu and her colorful cast of friends are stuck in a Dreamland!
An okay enough game. It's free, so no complaints there. And I did enjoy the atmosphere behind the game. Still, it could have been better as well. I'd recommend it if you like games that feel more like a trial and error exploration fetch quest with no real challenge other than to keep moving and looking around. It's a nice time waster, but don't expect much more out of it.

Great game, but not for everyone - it is also very strange, and somewhat confusing, yet that's all part of its charm :) Graphics are really nice - especially for a free game, the music is good, the gameplay has no problem (RPG maker), and the story is... puzzling? but still nice :) It is very similar to Yume Nikki and real fun too. Some of the places can be pretty creepy but afaik it's not really scary. Would totally recommend, especially since it's free!
This is an interesting game, something like a mystery exploration puzzle RPG lite. You are thrust into an unknown world and have to explore to find out what is going on. You have an inventory and use it to solve puzzles that you encounter exploring the world. The environment and characters in the game are a little silly and a little mysterious and it is generally fun to explore the world. It can sometimes be frustrating when trying to puzzle out what to do next. The game suffers a bit because it is difficult to know what is possible in the game, and how some items are intended to be used. It reminds me of classic adventure games from my childhood, which were often much more opaque than modern games. This game is definately worth a try, even if only to experience the charming art and music for awhile.
