Amaze: Interactive VR Movies

VR 180 3D, well done and mostly great video-quality.

High quality 180 videos with interaction required on some. Plenty to explore with both free and premium content.

I do NOT recommend on STEAM. But it migth be interesting on Occulus. Pro: -Good resolution. -Some variety of content. -Most videos are 180 degrees, it means you dont have to spin on your chair to see all the content. Cons: -On steam you pay 6.50$ for only 2 preselected premium videos... If you want the others it will cost 5$ each (more than 50 premium videos)...BUT, On Oculus store you can subscribe for 7$ a month and see them all.... -The acting is amateurish but the lack of camera effect and soundtrack play a big part in that. -You can access the part 1 of all premium videos but its a joke... The 30 sec trailers are worth watching if you want to have a taste of what it migth looks like when this platform is properly funded. But you wont have that impression from their chapter 1 because if its horror... it stop when it begins to be scary and ask for 5$... comedy do the same when it start being funny... etc. In other word. If you got Occulus and want to try premium, dont waste your money here and subscribe to amazevr on occulus. If you have an other VR device, you will have to pay so much more for premium its insulting, but the 30 sec trailers can serve as a free teaser of what VR TV could be.

Movies are good but censorship is unbelievable. Remove censors. Just like GTA V half in half out they have strippers in a club but you shower in a bikini. WTF. Don't need blackout parts with sound because you censor things.

I download the videos and puchased them. But it always freezes. I even spent over $1500 computer and still the same issue. I could have tried this not on steam. But I feel this was a waste of my money.

the 180 VR is the bomb, 360 is a smelly pile -why would you want to have to turn around and move about in VR? and you miss much of what is going on as well, not to mention the best 3D in 360 is pathetic.

While it was a good premise at the time, this software has been abandoned by the developer. Given it's whole purpose was for new three dimensional content to be added over time and they were slow at that... I would suggest finding something else. I do understand that such things can be hard to get off the ground, but this one didn't and now won't. Too bad. I wish the developers best of luck on their next projects.
