Fun game a long time ago, not so much anymore.
Great game. Terrible publisher. My.com is the worst gaming company in the world. Their support will not help you. They will take you through many hoops to ultimately reject each one of your requests. On Free server, the game is extremely P2W. You are milked in every way possible. The game is a casino with pretty graphics. This is not a game, this is software in disguise. Subscription server is dead. There is not even 2-3 active players per faction. You will NOT get a refund for trying the game, so don't even bother!

I like this game Allods. How did I not find it sooner? The game knows the difference between males and females which seems rarer and rarer these days.
The best wow clone out there beside ff14. P2P servers are where its at but free is cool too
Sad it is a half abandoned game... Loved it back in the day!
Allods Online, developed by IT Territory and published by MY.GAMES, is an MMORPG that feels both familiar and oddly distinctive, combining traditional genre foundations with a handful of ambitious systems that give it a personality of its own. Set in the fractured world of Sarnaut—a planet shattered into floating islands drifting through a magical void—the game blends classic high fantasy with touches of steampunk and arcane technology. This setting immediately sets the tone, offering a world that feels expansive and imaginative, even if its structure still follows many of the conventions established by earlier MMORPGs. At a fundamental level, the game adheres to the classic formula of quest-driven progression, character leveling, and group-based content. Players align with one of two major factions, each offering its own races, visual identity, and narrative perspective. Character classes cover a wide range of archetypes, from melee fighters to spellcasters and support roles, allowing for varied playstyles depending on preference. The early stages of the game are structured to ease players into its systems, gradually introducing mechanics through guided quests and story-driven content. While this approach is familiar, it remains effective, especially for those who enjoy a more traditional progression path. Where Allods Online begins to stand out is in its larger-scale systems, particularly the Astral exploration feature. As players advance, they gain access to customizable ships that allow them to travel through the Astral—a vast, dangerous void connecting the floating islands of the world. This system introduces a layer of gameplay that goes beyond standard questing and dungeon runs. Ship management, cooperative navigation, and combat encounters in this space require coordination and add a sense of scale that few MMORPGs attempt. It’s one of the game’s most memorable features, providing moments that feel genuinely different from the usual genre experience. The world itself is rich with content, offering a variety of zones, quests, and activities that support long-term play. The art style leans toward a colorful, stylized presentation, with environments that range from lush landscapes to industrial strongholds. While not cutting-edge by modern standards, the visual design still manages to create a cohesive and engaging atmosphere. The narrative also plays a more prominent role than in many similar games, with storylines that connect different regions and events, giving players a clearer sense of progression within the world. Community and large-scale interaction are central to the game’s design. Guilds are not just optional features but key components of progression, enabling access to group content and large-scale activities. PvP systems further expand this, offering both structured and open-world encounters that encourage competition between players. These elements help create a sense of shared experience, making the game feel more alive, especially when participating in coordinated group efforts or faction-based conflicts. However, the game’s age is difficult to ignore, and it shows in several areas. The interface can feel outdated, and certain aspects of the user experience lack the refinement seen in newer MMORPGs. Progression can also become repetitive, with a heavy reliance on grinding and familiar quest structures, particularly in later stages. While this is not unusual for games of its type, it can make the experience feel slower and more demanding than what modern players might expect. The free-to-play model introduces additional challenges. While the game is accessible without spending money, its monetization system includes options that can influence progression speed and overall power. This can create a noticeable imbalance, especially in competitive or endgame content, where players who invest financially may gain advantages. Although improvements have been made over time, this aspect still affects how the game is perceived and experienced. Despite these issues, Allods Online remains a solid and often engaging MMORPG that offers more than just a standard formula. Its unique elements, particularly the Astral system, give it a sense of identity that helps it stand out in a crowded genre. It may not be the most polished or modern experience available, but it provides a depth and scale that can be rewarding for players willing to invest the time. In the end, Allods Online is a game that reflects both ambition and limitation. It combines familiar systems with innovative ideas, delivering an experience that is at once nostalgic and distinctive. For players who appreciate traditional MMORPG design with a few standout features, it offers a journey that is worth exploring, even if it requires patience and a tolerance for its older design sensibilities.
