So, imagine fireteam 1. Now, make broken cutscenes, give it Halflife 2 graphics, and make barrels clip into the ground. Fix your game, devs. And fire your testers.
I feel like I paid 50 Euro to be a beta tester.
Pretty solid game, runs great across 3 different systems, lots of improvements over the first game.
This game is not much different from the first one. Core gameplay loop is the same, character skills are the same. Only a few upgrades. Feels more like a DLC than a full blown game. Cannot recommend it at full price unless you really enjoy the alien franchise and have a bunch of friends to play with, and even then.... You'll probably come to the same conclusion as me. It has way too many bugs (not the acid kind) that the devs need to work on. And that isn't even including all of the hit box funkiness going on for some weapons and skills. The gameplay loop for shooting xenos is there, but the rest of it is in a rough state. Pick it up on sale if you really want to play it, but have a dedicated friend group. Its much better with friends.

The gameplay itself is ok, graphics could be better and also the sound of weapons or the screams of the aliens, when they are being shot by pulse rifles, just doesn't sound authentic enough.

Not bad. If you liked the first one, it's more of the same. It has stuttering issues (mainly when you are loading a new area), although the development team is working on those. They have already released a patch addressing that. The NPCs are terrible, just cringe. They got a little more bearable at the end of the game for me, but I guess I'm here to kill xenos anyways, the story wasn't a priority for me. As far as enemies go, I feel like even though there are variations of each enemy type, everything just runs at you, so it really doesn't feel like there is a difference between the different enemies. But if you like holding your ground against waves of enemies just rushing you, then that's probably what you want anyways. If you play the game on casual, you can probably beat all missions in about 12ish hours, maybe less depending on how much exploring you are trying to do. Total completion like leveling classes would take much longer. The game is definitely better with friends, but you can play with bots in a private server which is nice. The only probably is is that the bots insta die on intense., or even standard difficulty in some missions. They also constantly walk in front of your line of sight which is annoying, but having bots are better than nothing, and you can also command them to shoot at certain enemies. The classes are good. I think all classes are viable, and there is a pretty good variety that you can find a class you want, but then you can also customize it how you want with the perks. The specialist class allows you to combine classes which is cool. All in all, I think the game is okay. It doesn't really do anything special, so its just kinda middle of the road for me. If you like the Alien franchise, then it's probably worth a go.
You will like it if you like the first game. Just enjoy :)
good game really fun
