Same fun game mechanic from the first one however currently has a lot of bugs, some of them game breaking: - Doors permanently close leaving players behind them so they cannot carry on with the mission (this screws up mission objectives as players get stuck) - Some of the aliens, especially the larger ones stutter and "teleport" around - Medkit bugs out, you have one in your inventory but you get an error when trying to use it saying you don't have one, if you try and pick another up it error and says you have one I'll update my review if they sort things out. pretty disappointing for a £45 game!!
I have almost 200 hours in Fireteam Elite. I love that game, it has some flaws but its great. Fireteam Elite 2 ..... what happened? The voice acting is ATROCIOUS, the writing for the characters make them all insufferable, the facial animations are terrifying, and why is everything not only locked, but a stupid amount of credits? The game play is still fun dont get me wrong, but everything else just falls short. This could have been a DLC for the original game. I have no idea what they spent money and time on. Because besides the new characters and levels, atrocious characters and animation, everything else feels exactly the same.
ROCK ON
Not entirely sure why there are so many negative reviews , would say a step up with gameplay and graphics and a step backwards with story and charaters , of cause a game like this I dont think story is thaaat important,Some bugs and glitches but thats normal for new games nowdays unfortunatly . Gameplay is good fun and there is a lot to unlock, there a few things I cant understand why they changed as it was perfect already but overall if you like aliens franchise and enjoyed the 1st game you ll like this one.
Not as bad as a game as I kept hearing and reading. Not the greatest game ever either, If you're not worried about the money its not a bad buy. If you're tighter on funds, just wait for a sale. Im not having performance issues. Game looks good and playes well for me. Im having fun earning items and weapons, while killing hoards of enemys.
Lag et crashs pour le moment, à voir plus tard, car la licence est cool.
This game is an enjoyable co-op PvE game that rewards players for leveling weapons and classes, with unlocks carrying over between them.
I'm going to say yes, but with a HUMONGUS but. This should have been DLC for AFTE1, not a stand alone sequel, it is bascially a continuation of AFTE1's DLC. Game play, is ok, except for other players who have no clue how such games operate, and most issues seem to stem from console players trying to speed run this game, you cant. Then there are the operational issues, which luckily, have been flagged and the devs seem to be trying to do something about like getting stuck behind locked doors, often as a result of some spastic console player running so far a head they trigger the next sequence., or thy run off back through the level and themselves get locked out. Some combat mechanics seem to be broken though, of the "bulletsponge" variety. Lag on servers is a major issue, as are connection drops. Weapon augments dont always work or do their thing. Weapons, the loadouts from AFTE1 should have been included. Areas, the ship area is too small, AFTE1's was far better, you got to see some of the inside of the ship itself, adn this isnt even the CIC from the Endevor of AFTE1, which you can see throught the doorglass; the interaction with the NPC's in AFTE1 was much better as well, which leads on to the "writing". Dear god its attrocious, who did this a 14 year old hopped up on bad 80's and 92's action flicks or was an AI employed for the task, all the remaining characters were dumed down, and Raptor and Piper should be killable NPC's due to their annoyance, Give me back Santos, Park and Herrera, they were more beliveable (Piper is not beliveable in anyway) you atleast got to learn more about the Aliens/Predator universe from them, and as this is a direct follow up why were they omitted. Having THREE synths is a major improvement over AFTE1. The game needs more challenge cards, though do like that it no longer chooses just one card but pays out for all four. Maybe also bring back the daily challenges as well. Perks are ok, and it is easy to level up quick if you examine the perks correctly, I did the single round sniper rifle in a single level. The red cache crates are also hit and miss, seesm that you can get one or four on a single level, seems very random. Comms on crossplay still seems to be an issue, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt, same with collecting items, which is an issue under maintenance and the devs are aware. So overall, yes, but not at this price, and for it to be viable down the line, it will need DLC, reasonably priced DLC, which will need bigger maps and more areas to go through. AND FAR BETTER WRITING, FIRE THE DAMN 14 YEAR OLD!
Läuft rund und gute Alien Atmosphäre
Although more like a DLC not a full game. But it's fun when playing with friends. That's all I need.
