heaps of fun, perfect to satisfy that urge for space racism, dont care about the story and i never read a piece of dialogue or watched any of the scinematics, they suck anyway lol
really fun, took the enoyable basis from the first game and added too it. Needs some more balancing as near every game iv played with other players everyone uses the Zephyr. Game is built on replayabilty as well, only took me about 10 hours or so to finish all the story missions (not a complaint just an observation) all in all I am enjoying it.
Good game, worth the price. Pros: Good, solid shooter. Good controls. The various guns feel and perform like you think they would. Play like you'd like. You can customize everything. Leveling and customizing classes, abilities, and guns will bring you back for more. Great with friends, good solo. Thematically, definitely an Aliens game. Fair amount of variation with enemies, making you switch tactics on the fly. Cons: Annoying, ugly women constantly yapping in your ear. This can be mitigated by you and your friends drowning them out coordinating intense fire fights. Really fun.
needs fixing
"games locked at 60 FPS" TURN OFF VSYNC CHAMP. I have a decent computer yes, but Im getting 200 fps on epic. Haven't ran into any problems yet. The gameplay is a blast. You like blasting Aliens with a squad of 4? You like different classes with different playstyles? You like customizing your weapons with clips/etc./etc. Adding colors and decals? Graphics are great, gameplay is fun. If you like whats mentioned above, you'll have a good time, plain and simple.
Honestly I'm massively dissapointed with the game. The graphics were bad the game play was bland it almost feels worse than the first one.
I nice surprise as I didn't even know this one was in the works.
i enjoyed and is a fan of this francine.
kill all aliens
TLDR; Overall i like the game and i hope they fix this stuff so i will recommend it. But buy it when its on sale. I wonder if they will support this game much at all post launch, if they do then they might be able to justify the price tag. Here are a bunch of bugs and annoyances: 1-Cant loot unless you reload your weapon 2-Spamming interact to pick up a health kit after reloading can accidentally pick up more than 1, depriving one of your teammates of healing. 3-Major & Minor items either show up when you go to lobby or they don't. for some reason i cant bring the turret with me, and there is a limit to how many classes can each be equipped which is dumb. 4-Turret is slow at detecting and shooting targets, at least compared to the first game.(not so much a bug but needs to be fixed) 5-Type 111 Directed Particle Emitter: Damage will sometimes just stop applying. 6-Friendlies taking damage from deployables like for example, the Rumble Turrets Crowd Control from them can knock you around, preventing you and the team from reviving or interacting with things, so be careful where you place this. I feel like they should remove that entirely and just keep no friendly fire on guns. 7-If the host leaves before the reward screen loads, (Alt+f4ing, crashing, etc) you get NOTHING, zilch nadda. 8-Certain doors can close and permanently lock you or your team behind them. If that mission has a cutscene, it can be used to teleport the trapped player forward, at least it worked in a couple times i have seen it. If someone gets trapped, the run is ruined because the team will reach a door that requires all to proceed. sometimes not. 9-Some perks are not stacking correctly, For example: The Medic perk called Passive Charging, which increases your healing stations passive energy regeneration by 50%. when you equip just 1 your station regens 2 per second instead of 1. When you put the second one on, it remains at 2 per second. 10-They need to remove the cutscenes from the missions. it was fine for the first time through, but watching them every time you do a mission it gets old. Who the hell on that dev team thought it was a good idea to put the CREDITS followed by an unskippable video of the Weyland Yutani symbol set to spooky music EVERY TIME we defeat the Queen? This is a mission treadmill game and all these cutscenes do is slow things down, the matches should be quick and snappy. 11-Performance needs to be tuned overall 12-A few of the missions need a more exciting finale. i feel like you should be running to extraction in all of them, but they have a couple where you just open a room, or push a button on a console and that ends the mission. 13-They need to add the enemy type info to the lobby wait screen, so you can bring the damage type you want without having to memorize that info based solely on the name of the mission. 14-Add another difficulty above insane. add Prestige levels where each time you level you can put 0.5% - 1% into a stat. systems like this drives player engagement longer for these types of games. 15-Horde survival needs objectives to force the squad to move around, as it gets too easy to camp with the more powerful builds. In Mass Effect 3, they had things like hack the objective, gather the intel, escort the drone, and eliminate the target. Maybe something similar would benefit this game. 16-STILL NO TEXT CHAT?!
