This is a demo-like student artwork, of a three-dimensional, story driven sci-fi fantasy. A free-to-roam, what-if art project made by Ahlman Institute Game Technology and Visual Game Design students, that is set in a time when humanity is scarce.

A janky little 5 minute demo, but still pretty neat, especailly for a student project. You have to cap the game at 60FPS otherwise your mouse sensitivity becomes massively slow, and even with that under control the mouse suddenly became too fast once I went outside, but getting past that hurdle and I definitely see the seed of a neat game. The real star is the city itself. There's a cool atmosphere going on and walking around the envirnoments and looking at the various details was pretty fun. You only get the barest openings of the storyline and while the writing tries a bit too hard to be edgy in spots there are some neat concepts and ideas presented. I hope this team keeps up on their game and keeps building their skills, it's cooler than any studen projects I ever did in college and shows promise to be something pretty neat if built into a full game.
I don't remember the channel, but a while back I remember some video that basically said, there are movies so bad they're good. There is music so bad it's good. There are books and comics so bad, they're good. But why aren't there any video games so bad they are good? The rest of that video was his argument for why that can't be a thing. Well, I think this free game presents a strong counter argument. I can't even describe it, you have to experience if for yourself. I don't hate all the choices they made. With some polish, this could have been ok, or maybe that polish would have just taken something special and made it utterly forgettable. I actually think I may come back to this later. But my god, does it have some problems. I died because I jumped into a river to see what would happen, the game says press ESC to continue. That brings up a menu where continue is an option, if you click it, it takes you back to the death screen that says press ESC to continue.Oh and the writing, I didn't even mention the writing. It got that teen edgelord energy with superfluous use of the f-bomb. This game has so many problems, but it made me smile, and I'm likely to come back because I'm pretty sure I screed up my second life to. But I can't, just go check it out if you want some schlock to laugh at.
