Buggy mess. Tutorial doesn't work so after first round there is no way to continue. You are supposed to select abilities from an empty list... so you cant.. and all the escape buttons on screen are disabled. Anytime I have to ALT - F4 a game, im inclined to give a bad review. I will return to this if I feel like debugging it, otherwise ill just refund it as I barely was able to play it 15 mins. Edit: While the problem remains, it does appear to be a rare issue. I also wanted to mention that Lunatic Pixels reached out to me directly and attempted to investigate the issue.
It is fine to change up your mind... Somehow not as addictive as I would have think

It's a pretty fun strategy game. The main draw is the lab, where you can combine all your units/buffs/spells/etc. to make new ones ala the online/mobile game Doodle God, if you've ever played it. Now, you can only craft new things if you've gotten any reagents, which you get from completing jousts. These reagents get used up if you successfully craft something or try to combine two things that will not make anything, but the log detailing all your succeeded and failed combinations only lists out the last 4 combinations you've tried. Fortunately, if you've already combined 2 things that have made something else, the game lets you know and doesn't use up a reagent. However, it does not keep track of failed combinations, so you can keep trying to combine, say, Cloud and Fire, unsuccessfully, and it will use up a reagent each time. This is my biggest gripe with the game, but, other than that, it's very enjoyable.
NOTE: The hours on record are from me leaving the game running idle to farm its trading cards. I was looking forward to playing this game on my new laptop in 2022, but there is a rendering problem in the menus which has gone unfixed for years. And I'm pretty sure it will stay that way, since the devs seem to have abandoned the game entirely. Basically, you cannot combine elements to create new ones, because your current elements don't appear on the screen. They can technically be selected, but it requires you to randomly click all over the screen hoping to find the element you want. Yeah... no thanks. I strongly recommend that you DON'T buy this game, no matter how cheap it is. Just watch gameplay on YouTube if you are curious.
Увлекательная игра,всем советую!!
It's an interesting mix of the Doodle series with side-view Tower Defence. As you combine elements, you unlock new elemtnal defenders, as well as buffs and spells and passive augments. Each win unlocks more guesses to allow you to continue (hopefully) upgrading your elementals. Overall, it seems fairly intuitive and gives hints, however, since you don't know the names ofall the spells ahead of time, you, like myself, may resort to simply trying every combination. That's where the game gets rather grindy. Also, though the game starts out easy, the difficulty scales very quickly. By level 10-12, even the easiest setting become a hard-fought battle to win (or maybe I just stink at the gameplay part). In short, if you can get the game for around $5-7, I'd say it's a good play, but I wouldn't pay full price for it because, once you start consistantly losing, there's nothing to do but grind lower levels and hope to get lucky in the lab. If you are very god at side-view tower defense, however, you may well do much better at this than I.
