Coming from WH3, this is a nice fun game that is a great addition to the game library
good game
One of few games that keep pumping out high quality content, well tested and balanced as well as listening to their fans. It’s clear the studio loves their game and care very much about the state of it, and not rushing out products. This game deserves so much more attention and recognition than it gets.
I think the game is well done, it's a fantasy civ. and that's it... If you like civ you might like this too but imo there is no motivation to play, no pleasure or satisfaction. It's uninspired and nothing surprises me. The game simply does not offer a challenge that i want to accept.
A fun 4x turn based strategy game that allows you the freedom to create your own race and culture to conquer your enemies with.
cant recommend until the harefolk get their ears back and the goblins quit clipping as the architects

It's just civ with heroes and very light customization of your faction. The problem is that the bonuses and changes are very mild (very "balanced") so it's very bland and results in almost no significant replayability. The combat is 95% against NPCs that just stand around in the world to be farmed, and 5% against opposing factions. Coming from Total War it was ridiculous... walk up to the opponent's capital and defeat it + their leader in one fight and their faction is instantly completely defeated.
