Favorite 4X currently
Ok, this is indeed a 4x, but anyone expecting CIV with a sandbox fantasy theme, this is not CIV at all. Is this a bad thing? No. If anything, its Heroes of Might and Magic with a proper 4x base, or in other words a more properly an amalgamation of two separate game types that works wonderfully. If you have played Against the Storm, it is the same thing (you wouldn't call that game a city builder like say, sim city). In other words, this game is a 4x of a different flavor. I would even go as far as to say that at higher levels of play, it becomes very combat focused with the cities simply playing support to your armies. Is the city portion lacking? No, its just not the focus of the game but what is there is good. There are alternate win conditions and you can play peacefully, but even peaceful win conditions typically require you to capture gold wonders through combat so you are still kind of winning a combat victory.
Крутая штука
so much fun
you get -40% imperium income from declaring an unjust war "to prevent warmongering". The only way to get rid of that malus is toooo... genocide the race you declared on (since the AI refuses peace). Way to prevent warmongering
This game is like playing few games at once , first you manage your castle and resources, then you maintain army and do battles that are in depth strategically, and you level up and gear your heroes and their skills like in a RPG game, its a fun game that doesn't rush you and allows you to sit down and relax . Art and music is great. Recommended
自由度比较高,有自己的思路
I dont usually like strategy games that much. Despite this I sunk nearly 600 hours in the first year of owning it. It's pretty good
yes very fun
Good old Age of Wonders, game depth beates them all - Heroes of Might and Magic, Warlords, even dare I say - Master of Magic. Beware though, it has fully adopted Paradox business model.
