The original one is one of the best games I ever played, I love it a lot, this remake is basically the same game at its core, but with many improvements and they fixed the chinese civ and campaign, so thats pretty good. The DLCs expanding the game are solid and while they have one or two nitpicks here and there, there isn't anything too big to be a problem. That being said, you can see in the campaigns that sometimes they struggle with the story, since all of them have at least one moment where you will more than likely get lose with the story and wonder what is really happening, but this is not really too bad and is easily ignored. Overall a good game, pretty fun to play and the only real downside I still have is that the Gauntlet is a pain in the ass to play and gets boring after a few rounds.
