DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. YOU CANNOT PLAY IT. This is one of the first games I bought on Steam when I made a new account. It wasn't great then, so I don't think I ever launched it again. Fast forward to late 2021, and GameSpy no longer exists, so you can no longer launch the game, even to play the single-player stuff it purports to still have. This should be removed from Steam.
Good little game -- just finished everything June, 2026. I have a new computer, and it worked fine on the old computer as well. Worth giving a try, since you can easily refund if it doesn't work on your machine. Basically you upgrade your one ship and the towns you capture with resources. You get resources 3 ways: from towns you own (the best way), by defeating coastal temporary settlements, and finally by stealing from other ships by right clicking when you have the appropriate curse and they have the resource. Once you take a town you have to defend it while taking more towns to win. You have to balance upgrading your ship with defending and preventing another team from winning while your distracted. Winning is often involves taking two weakened towns in quick succession and NOT spending all your health weakening a town for some other ship to swoop in and take. Each episode is relatively short and often timed -- no longer than 18 minute each. 21 scenarios in all.
Tags: Clicker - Slow Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: A gutted down clicker experience laden with DRM and underpar artificial intelligence and low amount of content. Review: I played through the 7 challenges which is all the single player content I could find. It was mostly a mindless cat and mouse clicker affair with AI that was not very difficult to defeat. Apparently you could replay the missions at a higher difficulty up to medium and hard to earn more stars but I could not find the difficulty slider and I doubt it would be worthwhile. The missions are all very samey and involve capturing cities from out under the AI. Just takes a little bit of patience and very basic amount of strategy to go heal when necessary.
For all the reason everyone else has listed. Capcom should be ashamed as the publisher.
Jeu simpa, un peu simple mais qui passe le temp
For me the game still works fine in Singleplayer after using the code - even if doing the registration now. It's still fun for me, even though it would of course be better with active multiplayer.
Fun little game not too in depth good for wasting time get on sale. Basically you make a ship destroy other ships upgrade ship capture bases.
