Honestly, kind of a dumb game. It is basically banished but with quests and beavers for some reason,
First, I really liked this game. Having so many buildings and having them randomly appear in a run felt very refreshing. Every run brought with it its own problems and benefits. I normally hate roguelites, but the way progression works in this game didn't feel like unsuccessful runs were for nothing. At least in the beginning... Then, you start to have some runs where cornerstone after cornerstone you are denied the buildings you actually need. Like, you are given no farm buildings in a map where there are few natural food resources. Or you are not given a single copper ore resource in almost the entire map so your entire tool production comes to a halt. I've had sessions where I spent the entire time on a map withouth being given a lumber mill, bricklayer, or a smelter. These are really critical buildings for your production chain. Having them denied to you just introduces artificial difficulty. Yeah, it does force you to think outside the box and come up with alternative solutions, but after your umpteenth run, it becomes tiresome, and really frustrating to be left to the whims of RNG gods. Some essential buildings should be available to you from the beginning (or at least available as an upgrade in the lower tiers of the tech tree). I'm not saying this is a bad game. It absolutely isn't. But I prefer to be able to come up with a strategy and stick to it in an RTS game. I like adapting my strategy when the conditions change organically, not because the RNG forces me to. I prefer my failures to be my own, rather than because of poor RNG luck. I prefer to choose my own strategy rather than that strategy being forced on me through RNG. So this game isn't for me. I'm sure this is crazy fun for people who would like a different playstyle in every run, but I can't really take it anymore. Although I can't recommend this game as it lost its fun value after about 20 hours, I still believe I got my money's worth, so I thank the developers for their work.
Got some uncompletable fishmen cave that keeps spawning fishmen totems every minute, I have the resources to clear it and workes assigned but the progress is stuck at 0% this is my 2nd bricked run in a row and i haven't even completed any level yet. This is getting annoying. Other than that, the game is enjoyable. But I don't know why you throw unclearable dangerous events at beginners in year 1 as I had to google a solution only to find it's unsolvable. TANKS BRUH
A poor city builder with bad Rogue lite elements

Painfully boring and repetitive, not for me. The writing bored me to tears and the gameplay didn't help. Oddly reminiscent of mobile games in mostly bad ways.
Fake Age of empires
