Teleporting Buildings (not even caravans). Full refund on deconstruction. Walls don't block pathing. It doesn't matter where you build your buildings. It doesn't feel like a city at all. More like a factory where you rearrange your stations to optimize your output at every given time. If this wasn't fantasy but Sci-Fi I might have liked it.

I can't get myself to like this game at all.. The fact the round ends before even building up to anything worth wild is lame.. I don't think it belongs in the tags they placed on it. Maybe they need a "speed run" tag.. cause that is all this game is. One massive speed run. I was so happy to be able to buy this game to just find out i wasted my money.. So anyone wanting to really enjoy a good Build city sim style game this won't be for you. It ends before you can get anywhere and you get nothing out of building them up anyways cause once that season ends it no longer gives XP or anything really. So yea.. waste of money on my part I learned to not just buy things with tags i enjoy..
This game is incredibly chill and addictive! I'm not well-versed in city builder genre, but I think it works great with roguelite progression. You're basically taking stock of the resources that a map gives you and making the most of them with what rolls you get. Keep your beavers happy with biscuits, rinse and repeat. It is more in-depth than that of course, but that's the general loop. I'm playing the base game with no dlc and still have a ton of content. Don't feel short-changed at all. Will probably get an expansion soon enough. Plays and controls great on Deck with a trackpad mouse setup. Big recommend!

eternal tutorial... even AFTER I disabled it... it doesn't give me any choices... I am hating it, and I don't know if i will enjoy it at this rate. Save your money and get either timberborn or all will fall. EDIT: after finishing the mandatory tutorial, my opinion doesn't change, what's the point of having those too many races if only humans and beavers are useful: Humans generate food as soon as you find out fertile lands, beavers lower flame consumption. The lizards are the main reason you lose games, that and damn RNG that always rolls for a material you don't have access... the queen mechanic is annoying and it makes the game an eternal tutorial that not only hold your hand but also forces it.
Design and idea sim building game its quite cool but its always similar to others games but, i think.
Really good rogue-lite with a base building mechanic that harkens back to Warcraft's 3 aesthetics.
Est-ce que j'ai le droit de publier une éval sans avoir acheté le jeu ?
A thinking mans game. A bit like a deck builder within a city builder, Very addictive. Games last may be 1-3 hours depending on your speed, but you'll want to play 2-4 maps and suddenly 8 hours later...
