Against the Storm

I never write reviews, but this game is surprisingly great, and the devs deserve kudos. It's like if Stardew Valley, Factorio, and Frostpunk all got together and had a beautiful roguelite love child. It has the great parts of all of those but also brilliantly uses the roguelite architecture to let you keep playing just the funnest part, before it gets too tedious. It seems like right when management starts to get tedious, you complete that settlement and get to start fresh with added perks. I appreciate that the devs paid particular attention to this. I think I got this game for $9 on sale. It's definitely the best hours per dollar game I've ever played.

This is a great concept for a city builder with plenty of replayability, there's plenty of things to learn how to do without being overwhelming.

Extremely unique game that blends city building with roguelike. Higly recommend. I would suggest skipping the turorial after part 1; I learned way more and found the game more exciting once I just jumped into it. The tutorial is kinda long and doesn't show you the main city and the whole map with the seals and everything else. But play the first part so you et the jist of it.

This game is incredibly fun, but the text is way too small. I highly recommend it, but the tiny text makes it hard for me to enjoy. Adding better text scaling would be a huge step forward for accessibility!
