Great Game!

Très belle surprise. Joli mélange city builder/roguelike !

The game is a resource/worker management + puzzle board game with the gameplay of a colony sim. If you like board games where you flip over event cards and then scramble to figure out which resources you need to allocate before the consequence bite you, this is the game for you. One of the most thoughtful applications of rogue-like mechanics onto another genre.

Great unique experience. Perfect for city builder lovers whom can only play in short (1h-2h) play sessions

I don't normally play a lot of city builder games, but I like the objectives in this one, as it gives me something to work towards beyond just "build a city."

Against the Storm is an extremely engaging game with infinite replay ability. What I like most about this game is that I learn something new every time that I play. With each run, it helps me to learn the game mechanics more and make the next run stronger. There is also no shortage of challenges, strategies, unique events, modifiers, and variability which makes each run feel fresh and exciting. Overall, if you like strategy games that make you think out every small decision, you will like Against the Storm.

Picked this up during the free weekend and ended up buying it, which says a ton. I enjoy the fact that I can come back to it at any point and just dive right back in - the roguelite elements help keep it where I don't have to remember what the heck I was doing beforehand.

I tried out this game for free. If you are looking for a city builder & strategy/resource management game, this one is for you! I'm saving up to buy this game now lol
