You choose between three girls, each using a different weapon but sharing the same gameplay style. You also get to pick a pet, with options ranging from small animals to bears and wolves. Pets do not really matter, though, because they either attack enemies or collect nearby loot automatically. Choosing the right girl, however, is important. The girl with the sword is almost pointless. The sword floats around and follows your mouse cursor, and you launch it forward using the attack button. Attacking is not automatic like in most similar games, so you have to do everything manually. The second option is a girl who attacks with books. This is the closest the game gets to feeling like a shooter, since you can hold down the button to fire books continuously. The last and best option is the girl who uses summons. Her ability spawns another animal next to your pet, which then attacks enemies. However, this mechanic feels slightly broken. You can simply mash the mouse button and enemies will start dropping dead randomly around you. There is no visible summon and no clear damage animation, yet you can survive until the end. The goal of the game is to explore the map and rescue classmates from zombies, but this is impossible. The map is huge and offers no guidance, so you end up wandering in random directions, killing zombies, collecting health and coins, and hoping you get lucky. The game cycles between day and night, and after one full cycle, you must face a boss. When defeated, bosses drop movie reels. When you eventually die, which usually happens after a few days once you are overwhelmed by zombies, you can spend those reels on three useless upgrades: health, dash, and speed. If you want better upgrades like increased damage, you have to spend the coins collected from zombies at a merchant. The problem is that the merchant is not marked on the map, so you have to find him by chance. Even then, these upgrades only last for the current run. The overall objective is to rescue all classmates and collect enough reels to open the final door. Realistically, though, you will probably give up after one or two runs because there's no fun factor. The whole thing looks more like a school project created during free time with AI tools.
