Musi się Dev jeszcze napracować :(
Adventure Delivery Service to gra typu RPG w 3D. Reszta OK. Moja ocena: 4/10!!! For $0.99, this is a good deal. I love the music (classic Runescape vibes), and the combat feels simple and fun. The procedural generation is nice. It does start to become challenging with room having more and more monsters, but the game is always fair. Great for watching a younger family member play. I played it for 5.6 hours as of review time so that's about $0.18 per hour lol. If you are even looking at the store page for it... just buy it.
In Adventure Delivery Service, monsters are known for stealing packages and taking them to their underground lairs. It’s your job, as a delivery man, to rescue these packages and deliver them to their rightful owners in this delightful roguelite dungeon crawler. The format is fairly familiar - you delve ever-deeper underground grabbing whatever loot you can to aid you in your quest. I played with mouse and keyboard and in that format, Left Click was mapped to melee attack and Right Click was mapped to your ranged weapon. Middle click can target an enemy – this was great for ranged weapons but also helped with bombs which were mapped to Ctrl. Finally, you could roll out of danger with Shift. Clicking at your enemies was extremely satisfying and there was a degree of strategy involved, especially as you proceed. As you enter a room, any open doors will lock ensuring you have to dispatch of all the baddies in the room before you can move on. Some of these rooms can overwhelm you with sheer numbers but the types of enemies are an important consideration too. Rolling away from danger is key but be careful not to roll towards a piranha plant which would be a worse fate than being attacked by a relatively harmless green slime. Similarly, you may want to actually roll towards a bad guy with a ranged attack. These can pester you endlessly so best to take care of them early. All the while, loot is plentiful, if not always useful. You can upgrade your melee and ranged weaponry as well as shield and passive gear. Each floor has a shop for even better equipment and an opportunity to invest in your skill tree – one of the random drops are computer chips which are your currency for skill upgrades. On every run I felt completely in control, even approaching overpowered, until the moment I wasn’t. At any moment, the tides could turn. This encouraged me to not get too cocky as I entered each new challenge. For this, I kept coming back to Adventure Delivery Service for just one more run. I really enjoyed this fun little game. It's got a lot of charm and the main combat loop is tight. The difficulty curve feels just about perfect for a roguelite; it took me several attempts to make it through normal difficulty, but each time I made it further than the last. There is enough variety in the weapons and items to keep each run fresh as well. Learning enemies and timings feels great while the unique room layouts keep every encounter feeling unique and keeping you on your toes. I enjoyed the small amount of exploration in the overworld although I wish it was a bit more present throughout. I also wish there was a bit less incentive to backtrack between floors and rooms. When low on health, money, bombs, or batteries it's easy to just go back to get more, but very time consuming. Overall this game is small, but very fun experince. I'd guess there's about 5-6 hours of content here which is very reasonable considering the price. It was engaging and engaged and interesting, but never overstayed its welcome.
This is a fun little rogue like game that reminds me in a lot of ways of Legend of Zelda with the graphics, music, and combat. It's not a massive game world and I didn't notice any puzzles but I don't think it needs them. It's a quick pick up and play for a while type of game and I really have to say I was surprised at how much I actually do enjoy it. Good Job Devs!
Fun fact! I originally played this game through an early demo at a convention quite a long time ago, and it was probably my favorite part of the convention, plus I got to talk to the developer and provide my "ideas" (I cannot confirm if these ideas were any good, considering I was much younger.) Either way, this is a fun, neat little game I highly recommend playing, even for a little bit to finish the main campaign. It has a lot of charm, and with a price tag of only a dollar, it's a steal. The combat, while a little annoying later in the game, relying a lot on upgrades to finish the hardest mode, is pretty fun and has a good amount of interesting mechanics and weapon variety, plus the hats providing passive benefits.
