I've played this game for years. It's fun if you like this sort of thing. When it comes to games of this type where there's idling going on nothing really beats it.

Adventure Capitalist is exactly what it says on the tin. You buy businesses, watch the numbers climb, reinvest, unlock managers, reset for bigger multipliers and then do the same thing all over again. There is no grand strategy hiding underneath it, no meaningful story and no reason to pretend otherwise. It is an idle game built around watching absurd numbers become even more absurd. And somehow that works. The progression is fast enough to keep giving me something to click on, while the managers eventually take over the boring parts and let the game run by itself. Earth, Moon and Mars give the grind some variation, and the constant upgrades scratch that very specific itch of making everything just a little more efficient than before. After 38 hours, I am not going to claim there is much depth here. Once you understand the loop, you have basically understood the entire game. The resets can become repetitive, later progress slows down, and eventually you are checking in more out of habit than because anything genuinely new is happening. But that is also the point. Adventure Capitalist is not trying to be deep. It is a simple, polished number machine that is very good at giving me five minutes of satisfaction every time I open it. It is what it is, and for an idle game, that is enough.
