Add Astra

I tried most of the Zachtronics games in the last 5 years and haven't managed to finish any yet, but this game gave me hope!

My seven year old son and I love this game. We appreciate that it is not timed so we can take our time figuring out each step of the way. Right now, this game has three sections (whole numbers, fractions, and decimals). Each section has ten different tracks/challenges. I would love to see more educational math games like this.

So, I waited a long time to buy and play this Zach game, but it's absolutely lovely. Yes, it's a game for kids to learn arithmetic, but the gameplay is tight enough to be enjoyable. Beyond the simple arithmetic, you need to make strategic [b]choices[/b] - is taking a shortcut worth it, is getting a multiplier important enough to sacrifice a turn - and this keeps the game [b]interesting and fun[/b] at any age. The game is short but, given its price, I give it a [b]full thumbs up[/b]. Oh, and, I'm sorry to say - but playing this did refresh my mental arithmetic. Given our general reliance on calculators, a small number-crunching exercise might be useful.
