Nice and lighthearted game.
ok!!!
I make my own hot chocolate from scratch so I enjoyed the new old ideas of how to add variety to the flavor. I enjoyed this game although I really disliked (and did not ever win) the silver polishing mini game.

This is more of a neutral game to me than anything else ngl. I can't really recommend it? But it's not bad to the point where I would say "no don't play it". It's literally 15 minutes of story, and more if you cared about the minigames (I didn't). I liked the art! That's about where it begins and ends though. The story fell apart for me because of the resolution it had. It was pretty okay in the beginning, nothing too unusual besides the fact that the setting is different from what I'm used to seeing. Then came the solving of the "mystery" and it was really just all trying to vaguely guess who should take the blame? It was confusing to try and navigate what the game really wanted you to do. In the sense of like, I have NO idea what the goal is to it all. Find the culprit but there's no. deduction? You just cycle through pinning it on someone else and the more you dawdle the less points you get??? Or something??? I don't get it lmao. Genuinely I don't know whether I got a good outcome or not. It was a good ending I guess? I have no idea what the point system was for either. Or the bell in the corner (they said something about going to pray but it literally never comes up again, so maybe it's to show the progression of the story? But I don't get why that would be necessary either way). Maybe there is some explanation to these in the menu or whatever, but I went into this blind expecting like, idk, something entirely different than what this was. Maybe like a goal? Given the story isn't engaging or long enough to just let it speak for itself. It's not really a visual novel in that sense, more so just a minigame-focused game with also a story attached. The higher the score the better??? Or whatever??? I don't know man. So this game is mostly just a big old question mark for me. I have no clue what I was supposed to do and to be honest I'm not sure whether I care enough to find out through another playthrough lmao. So play it if you want, it's free anyway, but I'm mostly nonplussed.

Игра "A Day in the Palace" оказалась на удивление захватывающей и атмосферной визуальной новеллой. "A Day in the Palace" – это прекрасный выбор для тех, кто любит истории с глубоким сюжетом, сложными персонажами и возможностью влиять на развитие событий.
