About

You're just an ordinary person... or so you thought. For your entire life, you've been narrowly avoiding death by pure luck... or is it something more? When a strange program suddenly appears on your computer, and someone claiming to be the Grim Reaper says he's come for your soul, your life as you know it is thrown upside down.
As you delve deeper into the mysterious man that calls himself the Grim Reaper, you begin to wonder if fate brought you two together for a reason. Can you resist his charm, or will you fall for the one destined to take your soul?

A Date with Death is a supernatural romance chat simulator visual novel about the week long bet you enter against the Grim Reaper to attempt to keep your soul. Create your own character, from appearance to pronouns, decorate your apartment, and spend the (possible) last week of your life getting to know the one hunting for your soul.

💀 Pet Your Furry (or scaley?) Companion: Yes, you can pet the dog. Snuggle up with your furry friend in-between chats.

Actually, the game is really great. The voice-over is perfectly on point and suits the edgy Grim Reaper perfectly. The side quests are cool, whether you want to take care of your plant, just do silly things with your pet, or spy on your neighbors like a creep. The storytelling is good and follows a clear red thread. Sometimes it moves a little too quickly, but it doesn't ruin the story. For a F2P game, it's definitely a really nice experience! The DLC is worth it, but it's not necessary. If you want some extra content and loved the story, it's a must-have. The outfits are really cute. Not necessary, but it's a nice way to support the developers. I'm excited for A Date with Death 2, and I hope I can have soul babies there too. Idk why, but in all my playthroughs, it was an option I had to pick every single time. And I still think about it. 😂

Amazing game. Love the art, sound, writing, everything. Love the representation the game gives you. Needs the Beyond the Bet DLC to feel like a complete game, but I'm fine with that, since the base game is free.
five stars, no notes
Wow, just wow. Truly an incredible work of ai art. An amazing game I would recommend to all lolcows. If you are a gay furry gooning bum this is the perfect game for you. (forced to do this btw)
Gng are the dlcs worth it??
This is without exageration the most fun I have ever had while playing a video game on my own. period. This story had my heart and laughter the whole way through and I am so grateful to have gotten to experience this. The soundtrack, visuals, dialogue, charater design, customization, and even UI connected to become an unforgettable experience. (I even entirely missed the setting to turn on voice acting! The next playthrough is going to be so much fun!) I was so blown away when I discovered that the DLC adds 3 more days(?!?!) of living life after the conclusion of the main story! There is not an ounce of hesitation in me as I buy the dlc, and I am absolutely enraptured as I look forward to the next game in the series. What a ride this has been, and I cannot stress this enough, what an honor to get to experience this story. Thank you creators for making such a fantastic work.
