About

You're just an ordinary person... or so you thought. For your entire life, you've been narrowly avoiding death by pure luck... or is it something more? When a strange program suddenly appears on your computer, and someone claiming to be the Grim Reaper says he's come for your soul, your life as you know it is thrown upside down.
As you delve deeper into the mysterious man that calls himself the Grim Reaper, you begin to wonder if fate brought you two together for a reason. Can you resist his charm, or will you fall for the one destined to take your soul?

A Date with Death is a supernatural romance chat simulator visual novel about the week long bet you enter against the Grim Reaper to attempt to keep your soul. Create your own character, from appearance to pronouns, decorate your apartment, and spend the (possible) last week of your life getting to know the one hunting for your soul.

I loved this game the first time I played it. I still do. However some aspects are tedious. Like watering the plant. I do not mind this as if you don't you get an ending. I sadly got the bad ending the first time I played this. I think I got this because I did not know to water the plant and/or I did not know you had to. Amazing story and I love the comedy.
Absolutely unskippable ads in the chatroom. MC captures my brainrotted ways of speaking so beautifully. 10/10 relatable. Also Grimmy is veryvery cute!!!
I'm not a big fan of romance visual novels—therefore, when I say ADWD changed my brain chemistry, it really did. This was such a big gamble for Two and a Half Studio; what were they thinking when they wrote such an amazing love interest, self-insert-able MC with customizable appearance and lovely personality, well-written story with endearing endings, and many other perks, THEN decided this game should be free. Honestly unthinkable, I regret not playing this game sooner. Can't wait to hit my head and lose my memory so I can replay it as full experience for another 30 hours.
it's well-made with great performances & you can tell a lot of love went in to it. i didn't enjoy it, i disliked the writing too much to play any more of the game. really really not my thing. at times it feels like it just goes in circles and it was not proofread, and other times it's just unbearable. recommending it anyway because that might be your thing who knows
I love it but please restock the sweaters and sweat pants please
