4/10
A nice way to spend an hour of your time.
"Alone in the Park"... comment cela pourrait mal tourner?
A Date in the Park (2016, разработчик — неизвестный / инди) — короткий point‑and‑click квест с элементами хоррора.
I don’t think A Date in the Park it’s as bad as some people say. I was literally reading some Steam reviews, and there are people calling it unplayable, going way overboard and throwing a ton of hate at it. I get that it’s a predictable game, that it has elements that don’t create much impact, but come on, it’s a free, basic point-and-click game. That doesn’t mean it deserves to be labeled as outright unplayable. Let’s start from the beginning. The start of the game is fine, it has a good style, the concept works, even though with the tags, the title, and everything, we already kind of know how the story is going to end and what it’s about, which definitely takes away some of the impact. You explore, solve a couple of puzzles, move forward, and that’s about it. Once you finish it, that’s it, and on top of that, it has a pretty anticlimactic ending. As soon as the credits roll, it’s like, “Okay, cool, time to uninstall.” The thing is, it’s just… meh. It’s not good, it’s not bad. It’s simply one of those cases where Steam should have an informational option like “meh” or “it’s okay” or “honestly, I don’t know.” I wouldn’t recommend it to everyone, but it doesn’t deserve the hate it’s getting either. I’m going to give it a positive review, but more out of fairness than anything, because what people are saying about it feels way overhated.

The gameplay is simple but exploration-heavy. It can sometimes feel like a walking simulator when u're unsure where to go If u enjoy short retro games with unexpected endings, give this a try (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶) I liked how the greenery & relaxing soundscape made everything feel peaceful, only for the ending to unexpectedly & completely change the tone It's also free, and all achievements can be completed in under 1h!!
very nice game
