Best game ever made please play it 10/10 peakest peak of peaks ооо даааа да да
Hello everyone, I have played this game 100%, I had gone through all endings, all options, and all of the extra subplots. Can tell you my girl-friend who played with me broke up with me, we were checked into the mental hospital, got released, and put back in the mental hospital and then released again and we started a campaign to end this game and a revolution against fish and tackle shops and french people. Every night I fall asleep having nightmares of the foreverness of each ending. Everyday I get annoyed at the girl who has no thought. HAVETHOUGHTS WHY DO YOU NOT CARE I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME HOW CAN YOU HAVENOP THOUGHT AND LOVE ME? I am going through college and this caused me to drop out and go to work at a bait store just to prove that I am better than this. If you are wondering my girlfriend who broke up with me ran away with a blonde inspired by the lesbian subplot. She took this as a sign to run away because I did not enjoy the things she did and her seeing the emogaru drop the protagonist because they did not like scooby snack was eye opening for her. I can say that if you want your life ruined and burned to the ground this is the game for you. Otherwise run away. 10/10 had a crisis

a completely normal dating simulation that is definitely completely sweet innocent and normal SOMETHINGETH ANNIVERSARY EDITION is a visual novel that immediately reveals it has absolutely no intention of behaving like a traditional dating simulator. Beneath the intentionally absurd title is a chaotic blend of parody, psychological horror, internet humor, meta storytelling, and deliberate narrative instability. The game constantly plays with player expectations by presenting itself as an innocent romance experience before gradually collapsing into surreal comedy, unsettling psychological moments, and fourth-wall-breaking madness. What begins as a joke quickly becomes a bizarre and strangely memorable experience that thrives on unpredictability. From the opening scenes, the game aggressively mocks dating simulator conventions through exaggerated anime stereotypes, awkward romantic dialogue, and intentionally over-the-top character interactions. The humor feels chaotic by design, often shifting rapidly between absurd jokes, self-aware commentary, and intentionally uncomfortable scenes. Characters rarely behave normally for long, and conversations constantly spiral into strange directions that make the entire experience feel unstable. The writing understands dating sim clichés well enough to parody them effectively while simultaneously using those same tropes to set up darker twists later in the narrative. One of the game’s biggest strengths is how confidently it escalates its absurdity. What initially seems like harmless comedy slowly transforms into something much stranger as glitches, disturbing implications, corrupted scenes, and reality-breaking moments begin appearing more frequently. The game constantly changes tone without warning, using humor to distract players before suddenly introducing unsettling dialogue or psychological horror elements. This instability becomes one of the most entertaining aspects of the experience because players never fully know whether the next scene will be ridiculous, disturbing, or emotionally uncomfortable. The visual presentation intentionally mimics low-budget visual novels while using glitches, distorted imagery, abrupt edits, and visual corruption to create tension. Character sprites and environments may look simplistic at first, but the game manipulates them cleverly whenever scenes become darker or more surreal. Certain moments weaponize awkward visuals and broken presentation intentionally, creating the feeling that the game itself is falling apart alongside the narrative. The crude presentation style actually strengthens the horror and comedy because the instability feels deliberate rather than accidental. The writing balances comedy and psychological discomfort surprisingly well. Some scenes are genuinely hilarious because of how aggressively nonsensical they become, while others slowly build unease through subtle dialogue shifts and strange character behavior. The game constantly manipulates tone in ways that keep players emotionally uncertain. It rarely allows scenes to remain sincere for long before interrupting them with bizarre humor, horror, or self-aware commentary. Meta storytelling is heavily integrated into the experience. Characters regularly acknowledge visual novel mechanics, comment on player decisions, and directly reference the fact that they exist inside a game. The ANNIVERSARY EDITION fully embraces this self-awareness, often using fourth-wall-breaking moments as both comedic punchlines and psychological horror devices. The game intentionally destroys immersion at times in order to create tension, confusion, or absurd humor. The expanded anniversary content helps strengthen the overall experience by adding additional scenarios, alternate scenes, and extra endings that further explore the game’s chaotic tone. The branching narrative structure encourages replayability because many of the stranger moments and hidden jokes are tied to specific choices and routes. Multiple endings reveal different aspects of the story and characters, rewarding players who fully explore the game’s bizarre narrative paths. The soundtrack also deserves recognition for how effectively it shifts alongside the constantly changing tone. Cheerful dating-sim music can abruptly transition into distorted ambience, unsettling sound effects, or complete silence depending on the direction of a scene. Audio manipulation becomes part of the game’s psychological style, reinforcing the feeling that the experience itself is unstable and unpredictable. Despite its creativity, the game’s intentionally chaotic structure will not appeal to everyone. Much of the humor relies heavily on internet-style absurdity, randomness, and self-aware meta jokes that may feel repetitive or exhausting for some players. The constant shifts between comedy and horror can also weaken emotional investment at times because scenes rarely stay serious long enough to fully develop emotional impact. Players looking for a focused romance story or traditional horror narrative may find the game too erratic. The gameplay itself remains fairly simple outside of the branching narrative structure. Most of the experience involves reading dialogue and making occasional choices that alter scenes and endings. The game’s appeal comes almost entirely from its writing, atmosphere, and willingness to constantly surprise the player rather than from mechanical depth or complex interaction systems. What ultimately makes a completely normal dating simulation that is definitely completely sweet innocent and normal SOMETHINGETH ANNIVERSARY EDITION memorable is how fearlessly it commits to complete absurdity. The game constantly shifts between parody, horror, satire, emotional manipulation, and internet chaos without ever fully settling into a predictable structure. Its unstable identity becomes its defining strength, creating an experience that feels deliberately messy in ways that are often entertaining and surprisingly effective. For players who enjoy experimental visual novels, surreal humor, psychological horror, and fourth-wall-breaking storytelling, the game offers a uniquely strange experience filled with unpredictable twists and bizarre moments. It may not always feel polished or emotionally consistent, but its creativity and willingness to embrace total chaos make it stand out among indie visual novels. Rating: 8/10
