On the ominous date of 8/8/1888, the entire population of Needle, Alabama seemingly vanished, leaving behind only a haunting silence and an eerie sense of dread. A first-person psychological-horror drama.

an incredibly unique style of gameplay featuring the 360-panoramic view with a narrative so gruesome it made me physically nauseous. i would recommend looking into trigger warnings prior to playing this as there are a LOT of graphic acts described or alluded to. i am someone who prefers more atmospheric horror to jump scares, so if you feel similarly, this might be up your alley! the writing could have been a bit more polished and certain aspects of the town's truth could have been made less obvious, but it was otherwise an interesting exploration of group mentality, abuse of power, and race-based violence in the American South. as the Professor said: we will keep torturing one another again and again until we realize our humanity and confront the horrors of our past.
first off, it's not really a game, but more of an interactive story which is 100% linear and you can't miss anything - it's a decent story, but it does get boring towards the end

I found this to be a pretty depressing read, but also engaging. The click and zoom interface was nice, and the pacing was well done.
it gud
I honestly loved this game. Its not like the horror game I usually play but thought this was great. The story had me intrigued from the beginning. Reminded me a little of mice & men with a little green mile. Totally free Give it a try ( No jump scare or horror )
A very unusual "novel" where you're in charge of the pace; the mechanics are simple: 1) find the blue dot on your screen to zoom in and read the next lines of the narrative; 2) look around you and repeat until you run out of blue dots; 3) hover the mouse over the arow and you'll "move along" a few steps further. The apocalyptic story has a distinctive "thinking out loud" style with a somewhat dreary atmosphere, both visually and sonically. More an "exploration" than an adventure, and I suggest playing in a single session (around 75-90 minutes).
A captivating, atmospheric interactive story (not really a game) shot in beautiful 360-degree photos. The story is fictional but feels eerily plausible—like something that probably did happen in some small villages or town across the US. And best of all, it's free!
one of the best and most in depth stories ive ever seen in a game, truly outstanding. great game, unique gameplay, 11/10
