way too overpriced. 45 dollars is insane, i would get it at 15 bucks. it is fun enough but feels so janky, and you can tell it came out in 2013, was in early access for like 12 years. despite their name, the devs are historically anti fun. unless you really really need to play a zombie survival crafting game for some reason i would find something else
2,550 hours. Won't play a single hour more. Support a developer that can stick to a plan. How many times do you change the core mechanics of the game before its fraud? I thought the game was great for a couple updates, then it turned to complete trash, now the game is $45 bucks. There are many games on Steam that have a way better development team who actually care about the community.
Wasted potential. Fun Pimps snatching defeat from the jaws of victory again and again
I’ve played this game for a few hours and I really love it. However, today I had a really frustrating experience: thanks to an update patch, I lost a world with over 70 hours of playtime due to a bug that incompetent developers can't seem to fix. Seeing how common this issue is online, how can they justify having a game with such a massive flaw? I went to their official Discord server looking for help, and one of the moderators muted me just for asking, seriously?! Is this how they treat the players of their game?
Game is getting worse and worse. TFP just keep making terrible decisions and will not listen to the playerbase at all. Look for a different survival game. It will very likely just get worse. #JusticeForJawoodle
not zomboid
This was a great game once, until the Fun Police decided to make sure you can't have fun and experiment and they systematically hunt down players and exploits and successful tactics that have the gall to deviate from the little tracks that FP have decided is the only way to play. And have even publicly stated that in the past. Coupled with a multitude of bugs, horrible optimization and the game randomly resetting any changes you make to the game world, like fixing destroyed bridges, I cannot recommend this game.
There's so much still to be changed and added to this game that saying it's no longer in early access is just a straight up lie.
For Jawoodle!
You can pour dozens and dozens of hours into a world and have it irreparably crash and never load again. Game does not automatically make backups at any point. Naturally, you would not make backups constantly when everything is working fine. Extreme caution is advised.
