I think this software is a lot better in ways compared to Substance Painter. The painting is more fluid, it's faster and the tools are amazing in comparison. Especially for hand painted, or stylized type work but is also no slounch when doing realistic PBR. It was either this or substance painter and for my workflow, this was far better, there's a good reason why the artists are Blizzard used this software to create assets for World of Warcraft Shadowlands.

Having purchased this product many years ago, and having since moved from the insecure operating system of Microsoft Windows to Linux, I am now unable to use this product. Steam's Proton makes it possible, but I can only assume that the game publisher still prevents the program's operation on any platform other than Windows. There is no reason to insist on such a restrictive license. The publisher does not own my computer and only has to provide a functional product within the Steam launcher. Nothing more.
An amazing programming with many resources to pull from. I mainly use 3d coat for its fast UV ability and retopology. If you want a program that does it all and it pretty easy tool to learn grab this one.
