Positive: 💻 Simple click‑and‑collect gameplay where you click to earn random computers and expand your collection. 📈 A large number of Steam achievements (61) gives plenty of small goals to chase. 👍 Charming in its own minimalist “clicker” way — satisfying for short bursts when you just want something easy. Negative: 🔁 Core mechanics are extremely basic and repetitive — mostly just clicking to progress. ⚙️ Little depth or meaningful progression beyond unlocking achievements. 🏆 Completionists & Achievement Hunters: There are 61 Steam achievements to unlock. ⏱️ Achievements that are quick to get can be completed in around ≈1–3 minutes, while players who take their time to collect all and explore the clicking systems may take ≈5–10 minutes to unlock everything. Overall: Meh 🖥️ is a minimalist clicker/collection game with a huge list of small achievement goals. It’s ideal for ultra‑short play sessions and quick completions when you’re looking to boost your achievement count.
A Fitting Name for a Forgettable, Minimalist Experience
With a title like Meh, you know exactly what kind of experience you’re walking into, something small, simple, and intentionally unremarkable. The game feels more like an experiment or a quick prototype than a fully fleshed-out product. It offers a brief dose of interaction, a few amusing moments depending on your expectations, and then ends before it ever gets going. The premise varies depending on how you interpret the gameplay. Some players might see it as a satire of basic indie games: minimal mechanics, barebones presentation, and a structure that seems to deliberately avoid ambition. Others might see it simply as an unfinished project pushed to Steam for novelty value. Whatever the intention, the end result is the same, a game that barely manages to hold your attention for more than a few minutes. Visually, Meh is incredibly simplistic. The art style appears intentionally low-effort, relying on flat shapes, basic colors, and minimal animation. It’s not offensive or broken, it’s just… there. The same applies to its audio: basic sound effects, if any, and little to no accompanying music. Gameplay is equally minimal. You perform a handful of basic actions, maybe click around, move a character, or trigger a couple of events. There’s no progression, no meaningful challenge, and no sense of achievement. Once you’ve seen the one or two gimmicks the game has, you’ve effectively experienced everything it offers. Despite all this, Meh isn’t malicious or misleading, it’s simply tiny. It doesn’t pretend to be more than a micro-experience, and for some players, that honesty can be oddly charming. If you go in expecting the equivalent of a short, throwaway mobile toy, you might walk away mildly amused. If you expect an actual game, you will absolutely feel disappointed.
The Good:
The title perfectly matches the experience — expectations stay realistic. Quick, harmless, and easy to complete. Might amuse players who appreciate tiny indie experiments or joke games.
The Bad:
Extremely limited gameplay with almost no interaction. Barebones visuals and sound design. No progression, replayability, or real purpose.
It's a free game so I cant complain too much, but currently it's not a game I would ever play again. No music or sound effects so it's just eerily silent, a weird mix of assets (like 3D models mixed with icons that look like they were made in Microsoft Paint), and no labels for any of the menus. Pretty sure some textures were even missing. Also I'm confused as to how I got 100% of achievements after only playing for 4 minutes... There's 61 achievements...
