simple, plants vs zombies-like defense game, in cute 1-bit graphics, although there isn't any replay value, only for achievements

I do not recommend
The love hate Kinda hate
I wanna like this game so bad, but it fails to do the thing it should probably do. It's not a sustainable game. I'm sure there's some way too figure out how to actually beat the game without losing a single character. Possibly. Or maybe not. I don't really know if that matters. The game has all of it's challenges at kind of low difficulty, and I was able to skirt by and beat it within about 4 hours. So we get this amazing game a not recommended. Why? It's not sustainable. Not just the gameplay at this point. But they 2 track music that loops, and is honestly uninspired. BUT THAT ART. This game is like being in a toxic relationship. It looks so good, you don't want to step away. You know for your mental health you should leave, but then you notice the grass and trees have a slight wind effect, or that the hearts fade as if they are decomposing, or that the bigger monsters wind up their attacks and throw themselves forward as they attack due to the force. It's just got so much detail in the art, but the game itself isn't there for you. It's there for Your Brand New Leopard Skin Pillbox Hat. And I can't be there for that.
There are worse free games with achievements. Very easy fix would be to allow you to replace troops on the same tile, or a half cost refresh. very little strategy and each game is over in a few minutes. 100% in less than an hour if i wasn't bored.

Relatively simplistic tower defense game with old school graphics (and music!). Doesn't really have towers per say, but that's essentially what your placed units are (can choose up to 4 different unit types, two melee and two ranged). Considerations worth noting: -When your unit dies you can't place a unit in that spot anymore. -Player units don't appear to get upgrades (enemies do!). -Once units get past the top 2 or bottom 2 rows there is nothing in your "castle" that will oppose them and it doesn't look like you can place units in the castle. -Player has to manually collect "blood" i.e. the heart icons on the screen before they disappear. Not bad for a first game, looks to be improvements made in subsequent related titles.
